VIP Membership Price Adjustment
To our many dedicated VIP Members of The Lord of The Rings Online:
We know in these times of uncertainty that many of you are very carefully considering where you spend your money, and we are grateful for your continued patronage. For many years we have worked to keep the price of our subscriptions unchanged from our launch in 2007. Keeping our memberships affordable has long been a priority for us and remains a priority for us going forward. However, with many costs of our business having changed within the last few years, the time has come for us to update the pricing of our multi-month subscription packages.
On July 1st, 2026, we will be introducing an adjusted set of rates for 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month subscription plans. Our current 1-month subscription rate ($14.99) will not change.
All existing subscribers from June 30th, 2026 or prior will continue their subscriptions at their existing rates, also known as a "grandfathered" rate, through at least December 31, 2027.
