Baggins’ Birthday Event Guide 

The Baggins’ Birthday Event, also known as the Bilbo & Frodo’s Birthday Event, is a smaller, story-focused event available in The Lord of the Rings Online! This event appears in the Quests Available UI when you log in while the event is active. Accept the quest, then find Frodo in Bilbo’s Room on the first floor of The Last Homely House in Rivendell. 

Frodo will ask you to travel to Hobbiton where you will progress the quest. Once you have completed the quest you will be directed to speak with Bilbo in the Hall of Fire, located on the first floor of The Last Homely House in Rivendell. 

A Forgotten Birthday:

Since 2018 a second part of the Baggins’ Birthday Event has been available that takes place in Eryn Lasgalen and The Dale-lands! Once you have completed the first part of the Birthday Event, find an NPC named “Thoughts of Bilbo” sitting on a barrel near Loeglond, where Bilbo and the rest of Thorin’s Company escaped from the Elvenking many years prior. Completing the quest involves speaking with people around Lake-town and Felegoth. Once complete, you’ll be directed to find Bilbo in the Hall of Fire, located on the first floor of The Last Homely House in Rivendell. 

These quests can only be completed once per character! Once completed, it is not possible to complete the quests again nor find Thoughts of Bilbo in its location. Completing these quests will award Legendary Item XP, a Scribe’s Book-stand, and one of two in-game Titles.
