Here are the Release Notes for Update 50.1: The Wolves of Mordor, Patch 1 released on Wednesday, Nov 4, 2026.

Of Special Note:

Filbert Fig has arrived with new rewards!

Filbert Fig and Adventurer’s and Traveller’s Steel-bound Lootboxes now contain new “Picturesque” cosmetic items, pets, and more!

  • Myrtle Mint has retired for the season.
  • Adventurer's and Traveller's Steel-bound lootboxes contain new "Picturesque" cosmetic items including cloak, hood, mantle, and robe, a war-steed accessory, tall-case clock and owl perch housing decorations, and various cosmetic pets. These items are also available for barter from Filbert Fig.
  • Adventurer's and Traveller's Steel-bound lootboxes also now contain a Picturesque Staff cosmetic weapon, Black and Tan Long-haired Brockhound cosmetic pet tome, and a Picturesque Mouse Door housing decoration. These items are not yet available for barter.
  • The following cosmetic pet and housing decoration are now available on on Filbert Fig for Figments of Splendour: Tome of the Sandpiper and Map of Middle-earth.
  • The following housing decorations have been moved off of Filbert Fig and onto the Curator: Empty Cart, Low Violet Planter, Empty Low Planter, Obsidian Dwarf-make Desk, Obsidian Dwarf-make Bed, Moria Sunrise Crystal Brazier, Hanging Prism Light, Obsidian Dwarf-make Chair, and Dwarf-make Library Bust

New Neighbour quests available!

Brútha the Wayward, Emmathron, Golwen, and Haldo Rushbank are ready to share more of their stories with you. Unlock four new quests for each neighbour as your friendship develops.

News and Notes:

Skills & Traits

  • Survival Instincts The damage reduction provided by the skill Khemozêl Defence has been reduced to an x0.825 modifier.

Quests

  • In the Heledhris Instance: Predators Ahead, Meldir will no longer use Khemozel VO.
  • Resolved an issue that would prevent players from completing Instance: A Tale of the Second Age if they were defeated during the fight with Bragollúth.
  • Resolved an issue that sometimes prevented Bragollúth from being attackable in Instance: A Tale of the Second Age.

Crafting & Hobbies

  • Fixed stat budgeting for some crafted gear.
  • Fixed binding state of crafted shields. They were erroneously set to bind on pickup rather than on equip.
  • Corrects the new recipe item icons to reflect the correct professions.
  • Some of the new potions had incorrect minimum usage levels. They are now set to the intended level of 160.
  • Fixed crafted bagpipe icons.
  • Cooking
    • Moved some bartered recipes to lower rep requirement
    • Added additional higher tier recipes.
    • Cooking crate recipe was using incorrect ingredients making it uncraftable.
    • Some cooking recipes were incorrectly requiring purified components.
    • Final step of the Tetikir crafting purification quest incorrectly required two purified components rather than one to complete.

Items & Rewards

  • The names for the skill granting items Muster at Urotar and Sail to Urotar have been corrected.

Landscape & Adventure Areas

  • Adventurers and Travellers Quartermasters can now be found in Kol Sákla, along with seasonal figment vendors.
  • Far Terrain issue south of Rhuvendir has been fixed
  • Radar seam in Nan Ogol has been set
  • Cross-server fence issues in Celondim has been fixed
  • Guards in Draugardh are now more resilient.
  • Fixed character appearance of the Scholar NPC at the Nan Ogol scout camp.

UI, Sound, Art & Avatars

  • The color on the Cinder Garaferon cosmetic pet has been corrected.
  • Anvil of Winterstith - A complete music/ambiance/VO pass has been done on the raid to make the boss VO a lot easier to hear.
  • Maps for the new Draugardh areas appear in the Show Map Drop-down menu under "Mordor (Outer)".

Known issues:

  • The quest "Brútha the Wayward, Chapter 10" cannot be turned in to her location in Lake-town, but can otherwise be completed by talking to her at your home.
