Update 48.2 Release Notes

Here are the release notes for Update 48.2, released on Wednesday, May 6th, 2026.

Of Special Note:

  • The second set of 'A Glorious Hunt!' quests are now available. Meet up with Shâra Mizâdi in Hanamíku in Pahar Hatokáli to resume your journey.

  • Gather friends and seek out challenging foes in the darkness. Powerful members of Kishâsu’s Risen have invaded the Hatokáli Fells near Mut-hûru and Imizíla.

News and Notes:

Classes & Skills

  • Minstrel
    • Armour of Triumphant Song no longer erroneously causes the echo heal from Triumphant Spirit to play more than once per player.

Housing & Decorations

  • Fixed an issue with shared housing storage where the bank capacity would not correctly calculate, preventing storage of items, for Rivendell housing, Belfalas Islands, and Rohan Towers and Caves.

Items & Rewards

  • The deed tracking the acquisition or use of the Ringwraith Baubles from the legendary server was errantly removed. This has been fixed and now players who newly acquire one of these unique server baubles will correctly earn the item across their account. As before, if you have previously acquired the item, use the bauble skill and the item will populate to all other characters on your account.

Monster Play

  • Tyrant Tharbîl once again displays his correct name.

Quests & Instances:

  • In the Anniversary Mission: The Fortress of Olnathron, an issue has been resolved that caused Olnathron to become unattackable after a player wipe.
  • The Rohan Sutcrofts quest "Foes From All Sides" now advances and completes correctly.
  • The Folly of Nagakhêdi: Maukhorn's Avalanche ability should more reliably fire when the Tank is under the effect of the Unstable Buff.
  • The appearance of Arodel in the Book 15 Daughter of Strife session play has been reverted to the original appearance.

Localization:

  • GERMAN: The description text for the following Baubles now display properly in German: "Behold: My Treasure Hauler", "Laundry Day", "Plant a Patch of: Crystals", "Plant a Patch of: Poppies", "Plant a Patch of: Saffron", "Plant a Patch of: Tulips", "Sandstorm is Coming", "Stink Ball, Viznak's Cure?".
