    So I'm noticing positive changes.

Thank you to the freeps that are purposely avoiding grams camps. I've also noticed the groups breaking up when creeps are not fully grouped or its looking like a camp. I hope this some-what helps things. I see the effort being made and just wanted to say thanks.

Thank you to the creeps for grouping, trying to group and helping the little ones with their map quests. AND a huge thanks to those of you helping the little ones quest and such.

I had a pretty busy week last week but I should be back Monday for some sort of normal game play, so I'd like to continue to extend my invitation to anyone who needs maps or wants to start a new creep. Just holler if you see me on, I'll be glad to help.

Okay, I agree with this, but then you can't be one-sided on this issue. You know who has a raid out regardless of freep numbers and keeps it regardless of the camp or not. It's all just points for him...

As far as ik, creepside doesn't have a full time raid leader, unless we got one in the last week or so. I'm not going to be "one-sided" on the issue. At least I don't intend to be. When I'm wrong, I say I'm wrong. In any case I know who you are talking about but he's not playing anymore from what I see.

I apologize for not being around the last month. I just got burned out, the SOS every day, not enuff creeps to break the freeps, the only good fight for the freeps was/is a Grams Camp and the only two fights are from Grams to Lugz or TR to GV.../yawn. That and I was lvling my hunter on Meneldor and then bam, 100% free xp, yeah! But ... yeah ... (yes, this is a QQ). With freeps being so OP again it's back to pre-RoI, yeah, just not that much fun. Most of the high ranks don't play anymore as well, which makes it hard coz they led, understand the game and tactics, I got tired of leading because honestly, ppl that are "newbs" just don't want to listen. Then you have some of the newer leaders, and no offence meant here, but it's so easy to rank that just because you're r9-r11, it doesn't make you a leader and sorry, but not listening to the "elders" has gotten many a craid wiped. There are or were a few good leaders out, but I assume they, as I, have gotten tired of the BS and are waiting to see what HD brings...not that it will last, after RoR it only took a little while before it was back to pre-RoI. Has fun though, I might be in and out, who knows...

Thanks to all the freeps who waited to come out until after todays patch only to camp grams with overwhelming numbers, giving creeps the ON buff.

Camping? did you mean those 1v1's in front of grams? i didnt really see a gramscamp but i did see some great fights (Ty Stargash, Daggy and others)

    But ...

New update same ####. People not willing to group up on creepside running in 1 by 1 getting killed. My group was out before u12.1 and we didnt/dont really care about dying. (on burg i dont have audacity)

I really dont like playing freepside in the moors, but at least someone is willing to step up and lead! Heck why dont you lead Kate?

I've tried to lead on freepside several times, always ended the same .... guys don't listen and get themselves killed then call me names that you wouldn't say to your grandmother. Fact is, and its sad, the guys in the moors just won't listen to a girl. So I gave up trying. I do group the kids up on creepside to work on maps but its hard when things are like this and the map stays mostly blue and they can't even leave the front door of grams with out getting one shot by freeps.

I'm slow getting to this thread, but lots of interesting stuff so far.

As it pertains to grams camps, gv camps, and rez camps....both sides are to blame...and yet neither side.

Getting to the point of actually having a grams camp is more a result of the structure of open world pvp in the moors. The side that has more population often can push the other side back to their respective base. When that happens...this when we need to see a change.

    Event + Response = Outcome

Getting to the point of one side being pushed back to their base is the "Event" and the "Response" of players to that is what ultimately will determine how fun the moors is during times like this.

    To Creeps:

-Having maps on creepside is not just a luxury, but also a necessity at times. This is one of those times. Whether you're in a group or solo...use your map and get the heck out of dodge. If you can get a group together...take the fight elsewhere. The most effective ways of doing this are by 1) Take TR if possible (gives a rez on the other side of the map that forces freeps away from grams) 2) Take ISENOP or AEOP (again, objectives away from grams)

-Along those lines...if you have maps...and you stay at grams...you are being lazy and only encouraging freeps to group up en masse at grams and camp you. By leaving (even if you are vastly outnumbered) you will draw some of the freeps away. Those that stay won't get points and will also leave. If there is nothing there to kill...there is no reason for freeps to be there. By staying at one shots you are part of the problem.

-Don't try and take lugz to break a grams camp if other objectives on the other side of the map are available....it won't work. You'll likely get rolled if you were just forced into a camp at grams. Be patient and take the fight someplace else other than that area of the map.

-I hate to say this, but take a break. If none of the above is working...leave. Go do quests on your creeps or flat out do something else for a bit. If you truly hate being camped...the best way to voice that opinion is by not taking part in it one way or the other. Again, if there is nothing to kill at grams...freeps have no reason to be there.

    To Freeps:

-If you're grouped and you get to the point that you've forced a grams camp...think about breaking the group for a short time allowing the creeps to reorganize. Patience. Sitting grouped at grams does nothing but make it worse and makes action ######

-Go do something else for a short time. If there's an objective someplace else you can take...go do it. If you do and they still sit at grams...you've done your part.

    To Turbine

This is what happens when you have no population control in open world pvp or a legitimate outnumbered buff. A scaling outnumbered buff would do wonders to curb camps. In any open world pvp where numbers generally win out..this happens. One side gets pushed as far as they can be pushed and they get camped. It sucks, but you've done nothing to curtail the problem. There is nothing to dissuade the behavior except for one shots.

    To everybody:

Be reasonable. Enough of the, "they are being sissies" or whatever. It happens to both sides and everybody is somewhat guilty of it. Including myself. But if anybody is truly interested in trying to have more open field action..there has to be some give and take from both sides. Cheers and merry christmas.

This pretty much summons the problems perfectly, so I'm quoting ftw.

Also adding to point out to not be afraid to start groups, and don't let the old "there's no experienced people online" excuse prevent you from trying. Everyone was a noob at some point, and you can get surprised many times to see what a good organised, disciplined group can do against bigger numbers. With no new player circulation, there's no long-term pvp, so don't only blame the greenies for failing - try to teach them instead, give them tips, show them the ropes. It's pretty much your duty as a high rank, and if you don't do it and complain over low ranks, then you're a part of the problem, not solution. As for groups/raids failing, whether freeps or creeps, sometimes it's the leaders fault (faulty target calling, unorganised bubbles/rezzes), but don't let it come to you, just learn from mistakes and don't point fingers at others. Don't be afraid to fail.

    Dear Vilya,
Join a creep group/raid whenever there is a grams camp. For cereal. Ive been doing it on Freever when it is necessary to break a camp, and I will continue to do it on Wakelee when the creeps raid up and try to faceroll. Need more players that want to fight, send me a tell for invite. Also, Im starting a Warleader, Blackbubblegum, creeps need some more heals. So if the day comes that you are again sitting at grams praying for a misstep by a creep, or an "unintended mechanic" from your friendly captain, flip over and roll a creep. Preferably a warleader, or maybe grow a pair and roll a reaver.

I feel like todays play looked a lot better than it has been, Use of the delving bosses by both sides making it interesting taking keeps and OP's. I looked a little bit like the old days hopefully we stay in this direction and make the moors something other than a camp fest. I have faith

I mean i just came back from a long break (close to three years) and ive missed a lot and ive been pretty active this past week and was dissapointed with the way things looked but today's play was a lot of fun on the creep side after the grams camp ended and the fight moved around consistently. Hopefully things keep moving forward, I still have faith. Leadership just needs to be established within the ranks and good choices need to be made for the benefit of both sides too keep things interesting.
