Thumbs up The House Blackrock - join our family

The House of Blackrock is recruiting. We find the best recruits we get are those who find us via these forums. They seem to have researched what's available and have chosen HoB for many of the reasons here:

It is one of the oldest and largest MMORPG guilds in existance
It is well respected by long-time players in other guilds
HoB has a casual, mature atmosphere - with no pressure, no drama, just nice friendly people
Real life comes first - HoB is family friendly
There are members from all over the world and several timezones
HoB has many extremely friendly high-level players who love to nurture new players
There is almost always someone online who can answer questions and give advice
HoB maintains online forums: www.hobonline.org/hobforums - that can be used for forming/joining scheduled groups
There are plenty of maxed out crafters willing to help new crafters along and make critted items if requested
There is support for deeding, difficult instances, class quests, etc.
In LoTRO, HoB is a member of the Windfola Alliance Consortium of kinships for forming groups across 27 kins
HoB chapters are not PvP or raiding guilds per se, but we have knowledgable members who do both
We have active chapters in WoW, LoTRO, SWTOR, GW2, RIFT and more, so you can bring your guild with you when you play other games

If this sounds good to you, post on our forums at www.hobonline.org or send a tell to any of our members in-game. We'd love to hear from you!

    Hi Everyone!

We are often recruiting and searching for new members to join our kin. We usually get one or two new members that decide to stay with us. Last week, we had seven new members join the House of Blackrock because they read about us here and then went to our forums at www.hobonline.org to check us out.

I am particularly excited, as more new members means more people to share experiences. It also means that the existing members have an easier time finding someone to fellow with or give their own advice to (both crafting and how to play).
I am seeing members who were new to HoB and LotRO five months ago, now go out of their way to craft and give game advice to brand new recruits.

    Happy Groundhog Day, Everyone!
We would be glad to have you join us at the House of Blackrock. We have active players of all levels and classes. However, more players means more chances of finding someone at your level and style of play. We are always glad to help with advice or providing craft help and quest help.
We have people who play every day for hours and some that can play only a few hours in a month. Whichever type you are, check us out at www.hobonline.org

    Hi Everyone,
We are still recruiting and will be for a long time to come. We don't have a certain number of enrolled members we wish to meet (though we have several hundred with about 40 active) and our requirements are very few. About the only requirements are to keep kin chat and forum posts family friendly (PG-13).

I've been with HoB (the House of Blackrock) for three years now. My son was nine then and that was important to me as it is now.

Here's a few more reasons to join.

    Hi Everyone,

The House of Blackrock is recruiting - all levels and classes of characters! Also, all people from new to MMOs to experienced.

The academy awards were last night and that got me thinking about celebrities. We have our own celebrity in the House of Blackrock. Many of you probably complete skirmishes. The website, A Casual Stroll Through Mordor has some good skirmish guides and videos. Well, Pineleaf (and his family of alts), writes those guides and does a weekly podcast too. He is a member and officer in HoB. So, if you are looking for skirmish help, he knows most of the answers!

    Hi Everyone,
If you are looking for an active kin that has been around since the beginning of LotRO, then join us at the House of Blackrock kin!! We take pride in helping others with advice, crafting and quests.
We have our own forums on the web that help us communicate with each other. Many of our members live in different areas of the U.S. and other countries too. Recently, I put a sign-up on our forums for members who wish to try the new 6 man. It is easy to find enough people when we use the forums and give advanced notice. Real-life comes first for us so the forums are helpful.

    Happy May!
We, at the House of Blackrock, are still recruiting. We welcome new players and old players too. Our kin has been around since the beginning of LotRO. We have members in different countries and time zones, so you can usually count on someone else being "in the house" when you are on.
Traveling through middle-earth as a solo player can be lonely, not to mention, difficult. Even if you choose not to group or fellow, it is nice to have other players around for advice or crafting help.
We have our own forums at www.hobonline.org so come check us out!

The House of Blackrock is looking for new recruits. All levels and classes are welcome - but we'd love to have some new members who are still leveling. We love nurturing new players! Check us out at http://www.hobonline.org

    Hi Everyone,
    Happy Halloween (almost)
It is not quite a month until the Helm's Deep expansion. If you are looking for quest help, advice or crafting help come join the House of Blackrock! We are recruiting new members of all races, classes, and levels.
We are a family friendly kin (meaning members of all ages so PG13 kin chat) where real-life comes first - casual. We do have players that log-in daily as well as those that can only come once in awhile.
