Carry it back to Holly Hornblower, because surely she mixed up salt and sugar, so if I ate it I would surely not feel too well afterwards.

    When faced with a pie on a shelf . . .

. . . swipe it and leave a handful of coppers behind!

Is it an Apple Pie? A fresh...warm... Apple Pie?

(That's as far as I'll carry that answer)

Leave it where it is of course. An elf would never take something that belongs to someone else.

Sniff it to see if there was a reason it was left unguarded!

Better ignore it. Who knows if it's the gaunt lords that left 'em there?

Well, that would depend. My Hobbit Burg would go into stealth mode and snag that bad boy in a second. My Scholar would probably give it a good once over, checking for poison, or a bad Hornblower pie. Most of the others would lift it and see if there's 500 LP underneath it. And THEN swipe it.

I guess it would depend. However, if it's my Pie Eating Champion champion that pie simply won't be around long. He's a Pie Eating Champion for a reason.

I look for the owner and ask for a slice or two.

If I saw a pie laying on a shelf with no owner in sight I would hide it and leave a note only the owner could understand that told the owner where it is.

If it is at any of my house food shelfs:

    1. Try to recall when i set there.
    2. Look at it carefully for any signs of spoiling.
    3. Smell it.
    4. Cut a tiny piece.
    5. Taste it.

If Pass all the tests, proceed to eat the whole thing!
