What is the largest size ale in a dwarf-folk tavern called?

Easy to answer: a really thirsty dwarf lies down right under the keg. ;-)

What is the largest size ale in a dwarf-folk tavern called?

Oh, I cannot answer that. As an elf I would never visit such a place(?) But ale comes in barrels, right? So perhaps a 'Barrel'

Well, I am sure that the actual name of such a thing is a quite well-guarded secret, used only in the darkest of inns in the deepest of delves, where no other race would ever dare or care to tread, and if such a thing were ever to be ordered in the presence of another race, that person must undoubtedly be very much a friend of dwarves, and thus likely to keep their secrets, even if they should remember them, which, after an evening in a dwarvish tavern, would be a feat indeed. I imagine that the only name remembered for such a thing would be the one conceived of the morning after, possibly affectionately, but almost undoubtedly regretfully, and I venture that it would end up being called something like "The Khazad Doom".

The largest size ale currently would be single-serving Tuns.

There ARE rumors that one enterprising old dwarf is working on an ale-filled olympic-sized swimming pool in the middle of his new tavern, complete with ale fountain in the center. ...but that's just a rumor.

I like how ya think, Sal^^.

Dwarves fill natural mine-shafts with ale, and drink (and mine) their way down. This is known as a "mother-lode".
