    Bugged hunter animations

Hello all, Ive recently noticed that hunter has animation bug when shoting two quick shots in a row. Second is not shotted at all.
First I thought dps is also missed but the hits are reported. Looks like he shots twice but animation is only for one. Have you noticed that also? I use bow.

By the way, do you have any ideas how to make APS faster? I have currently APS around 2.3, which seems low resulting in lower DPS. I dont have any more idea tho how to increase it with rotation or traits. I have loaded all what I could.
    Thanks for any advices.

It's not just Hunters with a non-animated skill-use problem. I was playing a Minstrel recently and a similar thing happened: the skill worked, but my toon just stood there as if nothing happened. I didn't play other classes long enough to see whether this is a universal problem, but I'll bet it is. Ahhh, updates.

Vastin said Minstrel animations would be wonky after the last changes he made. At least until the animations themselves, could be re-done. I don't know why Hunter animations are acting up, unless he did some "undocumented" work on their attack duration. I've noticed my Swift Bow animation has been acting weird lately. Like I raise the bow twice during that skill.

Frankly the most important hunter animation to fix is Purge Poison - it takes AGES for the hunter to dust him or herself off.

    1. Make sure to keep your DoTs up (whenever the mobs have enough morale to justify placing them).
    2. Make sure to queue your skills properly, without ever waiting for a skill to be available. Fill any extra time with quickshots.
    3. Attack duration buffs from a captain or a minstrel and induction/attack duration raid set bonuses will also increase your attacks per second.
    4. Fire oil DoT will be counted into your APS by combat analysis (at least by default), so keep this in mind when doing testing or comparing results with others.

Leave purge alone. It's perfect in its current form to stop from being punted in the raid

Use a skill animation to stop a raid boss mechanic from utilizing its intent? Seems legit.

Perhaps when the next raid comes about. Anyone who intentionally roots themselves, to avoid being punted, should get one shotted.
