My mother, daughter, and I play Lord of the Rings Online together. My mother is visiting, at the moment, and while here we picked out a lovely Yule tree, trimmed off the end for our Yule log and proceeded to have a many an adventure trying to get the tree up and decorated, hilarious! The visit has been memorable and we will miss my mother, but we can't wait to all get back together online and share in some more hi'falutin' adventures in the LOTRO realms!

    Merry Yule!

Prep for Party of Four or More!

So, my brother commissioned me to build him a new computer, and then gave me his old one. I upgraded that one to run Win7, and it plays LOTRO well. Then built my wife a new computer (she always gets the newest), so now the whole family each has a unit online capable. Now we can all play LOTRO at the same time as a lean, mean fellowship machine! So many instances to storm! And for Yule? We will dominate the Yule theater as actors or pelters! Huzzah!!!

    - I'm preparing the house for the event:

snowball arena and snowmen outside, globes, candles and hobbit wall surface inside

    - every character is wearing the yule cheer set because the black is slimming but the red makes characters more attractive
    - training the beorning for The Biggest Stomach of Them All . He is not eating anything from November.

Same as every festival, too much eating, too much drinking.
