    Rift & Essence Gear

    So with the addition of Rift T2 and T3 along with Dragon Wing T2 and T3, can SSG increase the drop rate of the Nadhin gear for level 50 within the Rift? Maybe have the drop rates increase for T2 and T3? This would probably encourage more people to run the instance and encourage more runs of the higher tiers.

    Defo i think its a good idea, and maybe even make it like how rift currently works with each boss dropping a piece. Shouldnt be too hard to implement though i am no game designer.

    People are calling for them to remove essences and essence gear altogether on the legendary servers, and you want to make it easier to acquire / more common? Seriously. What's the point of the hundreds upon hundreds of unique items / rare / incomparable drops and the traditional armour sets if you'd just rather run around in essence gear?

    I really don't think they're going to remove essences from any level caps, we're stuck with them.

    I think they should add teals in t2 and golds in t3, teals and lower are already rare landscape drops for casuals/people unable to complete the more challenging content.

    If the traditional sets are good, they wil be worn over essences but the problem at the moment is that primary stats are so garbage that even compared to other similar gear the sets aren't bis. Unless primary stats (and scaling, gear doesn't scale well 50+) are looked at, all of the gear you're talking about is going to be considered vendor trash by the playerbase.

    Well you can wear all that cool historic gear prior to getting your essence gear. With only 4 months for each level cap many people won't have the desire or time to grind for a full essence setup. Some will though, so having gear and essence drops from T3 rift at least gives people a reason to keep rerunning the content. I don't see that as a bad thing as it'll all eventually be junked anyway as is the nature of mmorpgs, albeit at a highly accelerated rate.

    lol. They aren't going to remove it.

    People on the Legendary Servers need to come to terms with the fact that they aren't going to have separate rulesets for Legendary Servers and the normal servers. It's too much work.

    you can hit the hard caps for just about everything with one or two pieces of essence gear and you want more?

    I want something to work towards. Give us reasons to keep going back into Rift other than the "challenge of it" and a title or deed. If they're not going to offer improved Rift sets for doing the harder content, at least make the Essence Gear drop more often so we have some semblance of progression.

    If they are NOT going to remove the essence system for the next tiers on the Legendary system, at least make it easier to obtain or make them craftable or something. These very rare random drops isn't the way to go. I would rather they remove it altogether until level 100, but if they can't or won't.... at least make them actually obtainable.

    Next up: Sixteenth Hall Farms on the Legendary Server when the level cap changes.....
