Possible to manual patch/update 2nd PC at home?

I was wondering if it's possible to do a manual update after initial installation. As in, put some files on a flash drive and move them over to my other PC. The initial installation update is quite large.

I thought maybe just the .dat files in the root?

You can actually copy the entire LOTRO folder onto an external drive and then onto the second computer. I do this all the time, since I have a slower internet connection at home and it's no fun spending an hour updating the game on each of two computers.
