    Map resizing in JRR skins?

Jrr skins automatically sets your map to a smaller size. Is there a way to disable this or change the size whenever you want? It is annoying sometimes to have a smaller map, even though it can be useful.

This is from the FAQ on the JRR Skins download page

    - The map is no more fullscreen !
This is not a bug, this is a skinning choice, it is really convenient in some situations, and on multi screen systems.
In fact this displays the map in this actual size, without the zooming blur.
Advanced users can revert it by deleting the "Map Window" section in the skindefintion.mxl file of every skin they wanna fix, and repeat this operation after every JRR update.

From Adra's skin description on the JRR download page:

Yes, you can disable this by changing or removing the "Map Window" section of the skindefinition.xml file (note, it is "xml", not "mxl", that is a typo in Adra's description). However, that typically requires you to close the client and restart it for it to properly re-read the skindefinition.xml file.

Another solution is to use the MoorMap plugin which provides a dynamically resizable and repositionable map (with lots of other features including user annotations, breadcrumbs, overlays, etc.). Unfortunately since quest data is not exposed to lua, if you want the quest tracker you still need to open the old map.
Note, neither MoorMap, TerrainMap (a google style map plugin) nor the LotRO Google Map (a web based google map of the game world) have been updated for U23 yet.

Thank you! When those plugins do get updated, will they work with JRR skins enabled?

Skins don't prevent plugins from working. The only issue is that some plugin UI elements may not support skins or use custom artwork so they may not look quite the same as other UI elements that are skinned. The only thing missing from the plugins due to U23 is the maps (and annotations) for the new areas.
