Just too much. I like the "plain" steeds the most.

Nice addition to the stable, but i wouldn't use it.

Same here, but I'm still looking for that bow.

Dear god, I thought the tablecloth mounts were bad. I think this one has topped those.

Well to me it looks like a tree mount with leaves. LOL

Maple in autumn ... It's good to hide in the forest from enemies

The other day I went with a chacter into Far Anorien, to finish a few missing quests, and ran again into that unfortunate rider which has his horse keeping running away.

I was quite surprised when I found it in the woods, hiding there very effectively by using exactly this skin. Whatever it was that has happened, but Witherbreca and the Rescued Steed of Agarnaith are obviously sharing the same skin. And maybe the same - well, accident.

Ah, here is the horse mutation!

He surprised me these days too, as the missing Rohirrim horse in Far Anorien.
No wonder that it flees from his horseman to make friendship with the Wose ;-).

I think that steed still needs... rescuing. Someone call PETA... or a lawn-care service expert.

What in the hall of Mandos is this... thing? I mean... it's ok if an NPC like that Huntsman in Enedwaith ride this. He's a Maia, or even Orome himself, and he can use magic to make that horse/tree/creature/thingy...?? But a player riding this? No! What's next? Flying mount? Frost steed, fire steed or lightning steed like those in The Elder Scroll Online?

    "Salad Horse."

I 'buy' it though. Mordor is the heart of necromancy and dark magics in Middle Earth. Whatever process produced the Nazgul mounts happened here; makes sense we'd find some corrupt steeds.

This looks like an Ent-horse: Where regular Ents are tree-people, this is a tree-horse.

Course I'll be calling it "salad horse." Or maybe "Steed of the Salad." (Because it's funny, not lore-breaking)

Well, it's not a bad idea, as far as design is concerned. An armor of roots would go better with ithilien or some Elvish Deed (would be ideal for Mirkwood). The problem is in the leaves and weeds in the horse's neck. The rest of the design looks good. And by the way change the logo of the white tree for an Elvish motif of the saddle.

So was totally questing on alt in Far Anorien. Witherbreca (Sithgar's lost horse in Ost Rimmon) after the quest Saddle and Shoes (before you head out) has the EXACT same cosmetic horse as agarnaith one. Lotro Dev trolling?

  18. #18
Indeed the cosmetic has changed. Most likely a bug, but I'd like to think Witherbreca ran very far away this time and has lived to regret it! lol
