Yay Cord! Woohoo! Now I hope it doesn't overlap with the 3 Peaks release

It will start only four days before Halloween?

Wow, that's too bad. Because it seems that this Festival more than any other matches the mood of the RL Holiday...and once the RL Holiday is past, well, enthusiasm for the "Spooky" game event seems to fade as well.

You know, I was always confused by the name "Harvestmath" because the Farmers Faire has much more to do with harvest than this festival. In my mind, it is rather Lotro's Helloween Festival so the new date appears very much appropriate to the content of the event.
There's some good in this world, and it is worth fighting for.

Thanks Cord, for the info. ...It's not in Chronological order on the list yet, so it looks like there's not really anything between 10/4 & 10/22, is that right? (Other than Durin's week.) ...Just making sure.

Glad that we have a date! I was hoping for sooner, but I'm glad it's starting before Halloween and yay for it not being as late as the few years when it ran into December!

Time to start plotting my Haunted Burrow runs.

We do in general prefer Harvestmath to start earlier in October, but this year is all about fitting the work into a busy schedule.

    so... a haunted Thanksgiving. Neato.

This festival is going to feel pretty ridiculous before the first week is even over.

But gotta sell them "mini expansions" eh?

Lotro events have nothing with USA Thanksgiving. It's not about sell expansion, it's about festival can conflict with previous verison of game, with hidden changes in game structure what we can't see in patch notes.

Why is the a lot of little festivals, yet only ONE buried treasure event a year??

Hobnanigans is great fun but it happens several times a year.

Why can’t the buried treasure event happen more then once a year?????????????

Besides it’s only a 4 day event once a year!

That's because the Event Schedule isn't showing anything BEFORE Anniversary.
First Edition of Buried Treasure was in April (16-20) & I remember coz I make poster pics for the events for my kins & social media.

I anticipate the Harvest Festival each year. Having it start just days before All Hallow's Eve is very disappointing. Half the fun is playing the games in the weeks before Halloween. That makes October special. Once Halloween is over, it just feels stale. What a shame.

Bittersweet. It should stay for longer given how long the absences are.

The start date for the Harvestmath Festival has been pushed by a day to facilitate our patching plans for this week. We've extended Harvestmath by a day to compensate.
