    Re: The Riddle-Game

Its been a while, figured id throw my latest up.

With 6 faces I gaze upon the world
See through me and you will see them all
With 6 colors I frustrate the intelligent
In any color I delight young children
I am sometimes sweet as sugar
I am often cold like ice
Some have played games with me
But for some I symbolize work
I challenge reality with my art
    What am I?

Seems right to me. Rubik's Cube, Toy Blocks?, Sugar Cube, Ice Cube, Dice?, Cubicle, and Cubism.

    Re: The Riddle-Game

    Ok, here it is:

I cut a path with twin steel blades,
In the arena or midst the glades.
    Cutting, leaping, spinning, grinding,
I leave a trail, ever winding.
    Cold of death, never minding.

    Re: The Riddle-Game

Ooo, mower was a creative guess! I like it. But elvyen was closer. I was thinking of ice skates, but skater works, too. Good job!

    Great riddle

Id like to pass my turn to Brodomir, firstly because I haven't come up with another decent riddle yet, and second, because I love his riddles and want to hear another one hehehe

    Re: The Riddle-Game

I have no idea.. and i've pondered like crazy..

While we wait for a hint, does anyone mind if I slip my latest riddle in here? Im very proud of it I dont know how tough it might be, but I love it poetically. It uses the same rhyme scheme that Tolkien used in the Lay of Beren and Luthien: 1, 2, 1, 3, 2, 1, 2, 3

anyway here it is, hope Gibar2 doesnt mind me butting in here

These here, my children, I hold near
Each one can sing so clear and fair
Their voices soothing to the ear
    With harmonies so glorious
Our music builds and gathers there
    Revealing joy or bringing tear
    Whilst stripping all emotion bare
    The melody victorious

My children lay upon my heart
And open wide it is to them
From deep within I play my part
    Their voice I strengthen beautifully
And polish like a precious gem
    Our melodies creating art
Like flower blooms forth from its stem
    Our petals shining musically

Oft wander we, on journey far
Or sit with you when you’re at peace
    Companion, friend, we often are
We give you voice when voices cease
