To get back on topic:
I am glad I quit this disappointing game.
Tested the waters this past weekend to see if it really was as bad as people were saying, even enough for whole kins to transfer. Sure enough, it was garbage.
The only way this will ever work is for Turbine to nerf creeps and restore order for Freep dominance.
It was the only way to consistently get good fights out of creeps. There was actual challenge, actual trying involved. Creeps now are nothing but spiteful easymoders.
The only good fights all day were when creeps had to gimp themselves, unintentionally, when they did not have more than 2 healers in a fight.
It is a sad state of affairs.
Nothing but FOTM...
No creeps engage unless outnumbered...
Creeps only fight on map points...
Can't fight without stacking heals..
I mean it's the same old, same old I guess.....It's just really sad to see people still just sit around all day to wait around to zerg something....like don't people have lives? jobs? There's plenty of games out there worth trying now.....I guess it's the age old "I have invested too much time in this game already I can't leave now" mentality....which usually equates to "I have put too much money into the turbine store, I can't just stop."
It seems nobody is even trying over there.
People that know better are out on FOTM classes, out easymoding for the quick infamy, you know who you are.
Tis a shame, but I guess everybody is just bored of the game at this point.
Anything is something.
What's the point....what ever happened to challenge? Whatever. Enjoy your pixels.

Some thoughts from a greenie...
I arrived in the moors after U13, so I've only ever known the creeps to be seemingly OP. I always get my butt kicked when away from a group, being solo'd easily I think. And that's to be expected, being a noob with no audacity. Still, when I group with two or more others, I can survive and scrape by with a few comms and renown here and there in small fights. Usually its with my own kin, but occasionally like last night larger groups show up and we get more action. (Thanks Melywyn, Notershy, Frupy, et al. for coming out)
Maybe it was better before as you say. But what I want to say is that I kinda like when it's a reasonable challenge. The defilers are very potent healers, and it's tough to not get wiped when there's two together, even with a full raid - this is true. And the warg pack is ridiculous, it's tough to fight when I'm getting stun'd and my throat ripped out, non-stop. But so what? A challenge can be fun too. And if I'm not mistaken, a bit more CC against the defilers might even the playing field. And there are pots for stun immunity in dealing with wargs.
So I for one don't think it's as bad as many are saying on here. It's just a challenge.
Anyway, that's my two cents.
Emmellia r7 mini / Landy
B. Sure Thing.
C. How did that raid full (or 6 but whatever) of minis do?
-When a few had to dps because we didn't have numbers, nothing died and everybody was one shot by spiders.
-When I made everybody trait heals, none of us died, none of you died, and you all ran away.....
Anywho....didn't mean to get baited into a argument.
I'm just letting everybody know what they already know.
So keep on sitting around on beautiful summer days waiting for that easy infamy, pretending you have earned your pixel rank.
Just keep destroying what community is left...eventually the infamy will run out when people finally realize this pvp is a giant waste of time.
I know you arent gonna believe this but if you had said something to me i could have had people switch toons to make things a bit more even. Believe it or not but some of us want good fights, which is why i went for lug and tr, i figured you all would be able to put a bit better fight if we were fighting in your keep. Call me fotm, bad, a newb, OP or whatever you want but id actually like to have some good fights. Going back and forth both sides getting kills like the old days, but im not gonna seriously gimp a raid where we wont be able to put up a fight because someone thinks a couple defilers and warleaders is too much.
P.S. yes i know we had more than a couple defilers last night
Griffin puts it absolutely the right way here... people need to find a way to make the PvP the most interesting/competitive... but it takes a certain level of respect and understanding to attain.. unfortunately.. a lot of people lack this.

If Ur a 100 year old like bitsey (as u say) then you shouldn't be playing lotro before u get a seizure baddie! Haven't u seen the commercial saying talk to Ur doctor before playing lotro!? Haven't u read the warnings of lotro just like every video game has them?! And No excuse that Ur old! Theo can maneuver in this game like a pro and he even has cancer (that I think he said before...) and Ur here complaining about being old! Oh my! Please go learn about smoking before u apply it. Same with viagra. AND Advil.
Also, I ask for Bitsey to keep running because she is pretending to run again But she only goes 1.3 Mph these days. Also she loves to pretend she's in her sandbox playing with toy trucks and cars so I encourage her to keep burrowing so that she can remain in her imagination before she dies.
God Bless u all.
We have already talked about targeting enemy target callers and i have given you the best strategy. One thing i would change in your list is to make WL perhaps your number 3 over dps far away from healers which is your current number 3. What you will find is if you consistently target players on the edges of raids one after the other your melee dps will spend allot of time running from this side of the fight to the next. I'm not sure if your familiar with combat analysis plugin but your raid also has 'DPS' (damage per second) the longer your melee dps spends time chasing stuff from one end of the fight to the other, your DPS as a raid begins to drop. Therefore, the amount of pressure you are successfully applying to enemy heals will not be as strong as it could be. You need to keep your raids DPS as high as possible and avoid melee dps chasing stuff half the fight. Personally i feel melee classes make the best target callers!! This is where 'close kill' strategy is perfect for keeping your raids dps as high as possible. Whenever something dies try look for an ideal target that was standing right next to it. Such targeting allows your melee dps to start doing damage right away, allowing for the fastest ways to get kills in quick succession, and therefore getting enemy rezzes on CD faster
I agree with targeting weak players first. Especially when first engaging a creep raid and all bubbles are up. Targeting a WL first and having to fight through all his/her mits and only to see that target bubbled can cost you precious time. So really you have the right idea already!
As for fighting outnumbered i completely disagree with flanking an enemy force that outnumbers you to try gain an advantage, to me it is stupidity! I mean, there are times when i have flanked on both freep or creepside into even numbers and haven't walked away with several easy kills in the beginning since enemy healers reacted quickly. Lets put it this way: When you fight outnumbered your healers have to heal through more dps and your dps has to dps through more heals. Trying such imbalanced fighting in the open will OFTEN result in disaster if the opposing side numbers are even 1.75 times your own.
When outnumbered significantly there is only one proven strategy that works. The back door. Get a keep if you don't have one, preferably TR. Wait for creeps to show up, yes it can be very boring! Wait at backdoor (upstairs) for creeps to clear whole keep, as soon as they get to the door room go straight down through the door without delay. Wait for creeps to send one group up one group down. Figure out quickly which group is easier to fight, the one up or the one down, preferably the group with less healers. Always be clear on what level you want your raid, up or down. You can successfully farm an outnumbering force using this strategy. Many updates ago i used this strategy against 40+ freeps when i had a raid of about 24 and they couldn't kill my raid for about 45mins to an hour, we walked away with alot of kills What may happen: instead of the whole enemy raid pushing up through the keep clearing the whole thing they may leave a group at the backdoor before anyone goes into the keep. Always choose to engage the group that is clearing with npcs on them as they make their way through the keep, they will be separated for at least 1-1&1/2 minutes from the rest of their raid with npcs on them. The only way this strategy works well for the outnumbering side is if they clear the keep together then decide who goes up and who goes down, otherwise the defending side can exploit their weakness. Always look to exploit the half of the raid that is clearing the keep when they leave their friends outside at the back door. Try keep outsposts as best as you can and this strategy will work well for you.
Hope this helps boss, Don't give up!
