I think the amount of deaths allowed should be stayed at 2. If you raise it to 3, you could be spending hours per stream.

Now it's time for a real challenge.

Two deaths should be fine as the max. Otherwise we'll be there all evening lol.

Hmm. If a dwarf is lost, they are most likely ABOVE ground. So presumably the plan is to evacuate dwarves from terrible, awful, places like the shire and return them safely home to places like the nice, warm and cosy Balrog pit?

Booo!! Just read it's from moria to caras....

I was hoping the below but hey never mind

So, we have had a cute little hobbit and now I hope this is an escort of a baddy.

We could be collecting a Dourhand from the icereave mines and taking them via Thorins Hall for interrogation in Moria.
Or even from there allies deep in Angmar and escorted to Moria by way of Thorins hall.

What's the starting point to ending point? I saw it mentioned and now I can't find it.

The Moria runs will start the following week. It will be from the entrance of Moria to the gates of Caras Galadhon.
This is all I've seen. Maybe there is something more official elsewhere.

A quad pack sale before that period would be appreciated

Or actually it doesn't matter i forgot you can enter Moria even without the expansion.

I'm quite worried about the portal coming out the eastern side of Moria.. If there's loads of people, will that cause problems with slow loading screens? or what will happen if someone crashes on the loading screen? The portal will also break the /follow so that will need to be reapplied coming out the other side.

To avoid load-screen, perhaps we get a curcuit de moria?

Starting 21st hall take a round through all zones without crossing 21st, and returning back again to the 21st.
Across durins way, great delving, waterworks, flaming deeps, foundation of the stone, nud-melek, jazargund and back to the 21st.

This could avoid loading screens and loss of /follow...

To not have any loading areas we should start inside the Gate of Moria in Durin's Threshold and go all the way to the stable master in the First Hall. Gate point to Gate point.

Another thing.. these runs are super quick. We've done a number of run throughs, and our slowest one with hardly any run buffs was just over 20mins. There's little in the way of mobs either so combat won't be as much of a problem as it was taking a level 10 hobbit to Isengard. The main problem will be cliffs, but those are few as well.

Let's hope that nimro will follow Mungus path this time! We went a really long route.

Perhaps the following person is walking, so you could not outrun all fights?

Hopefully there will be some action in Moria, just running and tagging some mobs for an hour is a bit boring. (thinks of the SoA +Amarthiel events)

When we did the Isengard runs people were telling me they could do it in 15 minutes or at worst 20. The dynamics of large groups, where sadly there are the occasionaly few trying to be spoilers, turns the whole thing on it's head. Also, and this cannot be stressed enough, I do not help. In every estimate I heard for Isengard the situation was with a person of level 10 who was actively running and avoid things. So that changes things dramatically. As does scale. You and 10 people isn't the same experience as potentially a hundred or more people doing it.

    It should be interesting.

As for details. I'm still working out the final parts and trying to take a number of things into consideration. So details will come when I've worked them out.

    Things I do know.

Times: Will be comparable to the TTHTI runs.
    Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays.

I would love to know how these people managed to run to Isengard in 15 minutes, on my 68% mount it still took about 35 minutes. Perhaps there's a run buff I don't know about?

    You could add some way-points:

I suggest as a new Dorf all these will show onscreen as you discover them,
    1. Sixteenth Hall (easy)
    2. Crossroads of Ash (easy)
    3. Rotten Cellar (easy)
    4. Vile Maw (Hard to navigate with someone on follow)
    5. Dolven View (easy)
    6. 21st Hall (easy)
    7. Chamber of Marzarbul (easy)
    8. The Deep Crossraod (easy)
    9. Bridge of Khazad Dum (easy - lots of quick spawning mobs - depends which side you choose)
    10. Mekhem-Bizru (easy)
    11. Athmadhul (easy)
    12. Talan Haldir (easy)
    13. Lady's Rest (easy)

That would flesh it out a little. Would be interesting to see how long that would take.

Of course it would take a little work on Sapience side to tick off the way-points and that would probably detract from the chat..... Any good at multitasking Sapience?

I like the idea in theory, but I think that puts way too much of a limitation on the creativity of the players running him through, and a hard limit on how fast the run could be done. As with the hobbit runs, I think a huge part of the fun will be in seeing which routes people choose to take, corners they cut, etc.
