There is a deed of sorts in the Entwood; you complete
it by doing all the quests in "Forest Without Frontiers,"
and it gives some extra Entwood rep.
Also, quests in the Entwood drop lots of Shattered Hatchets
(and perhaps other items, that I don't know about) which
give Helmingas rep.
Can you give an example of an Entwood instance granting
Eastemnet rep? My only character in Entwood at present
is already at full kinship with everybody except the
Entwood*, so I can't tell.

*Well, and the Eldgang in the Rift, but I don't give the
slightest darn about them.

wish i could get a blue name response if this is a bug or not
If you think it's a bug, /bug it. Please. Don't wait for someone to say whether or not it's a bug because that might never happen. If something is not working the way you think it should be, /bug it.
If you give away gold bars, someone will complain they're too heavy.

Might as well face it, I'm addicted to WDN
Out of curiosity, which Instance were you in?
Because, afaik, the Forester instance is located at the abandoned settlement in Kingstead, near by to the bridge to Broadacres.
However, I think the Prospector and Scholar instances are set in the same locations as the ones from Hytbold, which would explain why they advance Eastemnet deeds.
I believe Fanghorn is considered as in Entwade & therefor counts as Eastemnet.
So it will be East slay deeds, is WAI.
Remember, it is a game.
I got half orc slayer of the eastemnet in the wood instance and warg slayer of the eastemnet advanced in the scholar one. Not sure if WAI, but nice nonetheless

When you enter into the forester instance and the scholar instance, a clear billboard message appears saying that you are entering Kingstead and Broadacres (I forget which is which). Both of those are in the Westemnet. I don't know where the prospector instance is supposed to be. It is confusing that these are giving credit for Eastemnet slayer deeds -- even though it's helping me get those deeds done, I actually need more help with Westemnet!
its obviously a bug that turbine will fix, yes, the new Entwood crafting instances should give for westemnet slayer deeds, but are giving eastemnet instead.
Personally, its been nice finishing up some eastemnet slayer deeds this way while waiting for the bug fix, lol.

The quests and mobs in the Entwood crafting instances are level 95, so I think they should count for Westemnet deeds. (Yes, I submitted a bug report.)
Yes, Direnfirel is in Kingstead. The other two Entwood instances are Gemyndsted (scholar) and Stangraf (prospector). The Hytbold crafting instances are Imping (forester), Iserngraf (prospector), and Parphad (scholar). Imping is located in the Eastfold, and I think Iserngraf is southeast of Snowbourn. Parphad is a "small ruin and library of ancient Gondor".
