    Gaming Mouse

    Hey all,

my old Logitech G3 (http://www.engadget.com/products/logitech/g3/specs/) is having some problems with left button so I'm thinking about buying a brand new gaming mouse.

    Actually I'm looking for:
    Logitech G700s - 88€ (http://www.engadget.com/products/logitech/g700s/specs/)
    Razer Naga 2014 - 76€ (http://www.engadget.com/products/razer/naga/2014/specs/)
    Razer Naga Hex - 74€ (http://www.engadget.com/products/razer/naga-hex/specs/)

Prices are quite similar, I've never had a MMO gaming mouse with macro features so I don't know how much I'm gonna use that, ofc the more buttons the better (no more finger stretching excercise with ctrl+).

Any of you got one of these? Any suggestion?

I have the Razer Naga (2013, I guess) and I am totally satisfied with this product.
I think the classic Naga is better than the "Hex" because why would you want to have fewer Buttons, especially for a MMO?

i have both Razer Naga 2014 and a G3 plugged in to my computer, use the naga for lotro and switch to the G3 for WoT.

i also have an older naga that works fine but i wanted to try the mechanical buttons on the 2014 and i really like them. the naga 2014 body shape is quite a bit bigger than the older naga but i like it for MMO games and it works fine but for shooters i prefer my smaller G3.

I currently have the Logitech G602 wireless mouse. It is serving me very well as an MMO mouse in LOTRO. I bought it in January 2014 and haven't changed a battery yet!

I have owned the Naga and the Hex, though I prefer the Naga. The Naga is built superior to the Hex in my opinion and the extra buttons are nice. I also did not like the orientation of the buttons on the Hex - not very intuitive. That is a bit subjective, though.

What made me choose a G602 over a Naga was this:
    1) The G602 lasts longer
    2) the software for Logitech is less buggy
    3) It was cheaper, though quality was excellent (Logitech is generally great)
    4) The G602 was made for larger paws. The Naga cramps me up bad, especially during long raids and 'Moors nights.

I usually play a warden, so the fact that I have only 6 side buttons on the G602 doesn't bug me. I only really need 4 for the builders. I can mouse or keyboard my javelins and masteries.

A note on feel: With the Naga, I found it easy to slip buttons and mispress them. The buttons are fast - good for FPS and othe fast-paced games - but easy to miss. With the G602, it was slower getting to buttons, but they contour your thumb so you can rock your thumb back and forth on them. They are extremely tactile and I always know where I am on the mouse. In LOTRO the speed is not as much of a concern.

The Naga and G602 are wonderful mice. It comes down to feel. Sorry I can't say anything about the G700.

    I hope this helps...

Cheers guys for your help. I've already ordered and received the Razer Naga 2014 from Amazon (never saw the G602 but it seems quite interesting), this w/e I'll give it a try.
I hope the 12 side buttons won't bug me too much...

I kept pressing them for the first week or so of owning an mmo mouse :-P. I got used to them, but my wife didn't. I just made a profile for normal desktop use where the buttons are assigned to nothing.

After a week or so i can say that Razer Naga 2014 is AWESOME!!! Indeed you have to get used to that huge amount of buttons and for a while it seems quite impossible, but then... OMG
    100% approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
