    Medium armour Helms

There are some decent helm drops for heavy armour, like Halthol and many more. Decent looking helms that are helms and not hats. Also when crafting armour, when keeping to heavy armour most helms come out looking ok, or if not, you can relatively easy pick another one.

However, when looking at helms for medium armour and wardens.. all have these horrible rabbit ears. Even at the skirmisher camp several have them. Drops are far less frequent and all in all, finding decent looking helm with reasonable strength is hard.

My warden is lvl 47 and I have not found a decent helm replacement (without rabbit ears) for maybe a dozen levels.

    - What I am missing? (I really hope I am missing something...)
    - Why those rabbit ears?
    - Any tips on drops, I will be going into Angmar soon, already got the Armour of Fêm for a while, now wearing it as cosmetic since it looks pretty good.

I will NOT wear a rabid rabbit helm.

Don't ask me how i remember this, but in one of the quest camps in eregion there is a helm quest reward (used to be, anyway) that has the "Razor Helm" skin, if you can remember back in MoM days. Its a full faced helm with a central blade going front to back over the top of it. Sounds like the type of thing you're looking for, though some color combos can be a bit weird on it.

Hm, could be worse. So is it sharp, do we get new head-killing skills?

    New skill: Warden Head Bash.
I think it would work well with our yell and kick. (jkjk)

In answer to the OP's question: I think most medium armor helms will have those rabbit ears. If the helm is good, why not wear it, and just cover it with a cosmetic helm? I'm afraid that most crafted/quest reward/loot helms will have those rabbit ears. Raid/reputation armor might night have that...

Hmm, I am thinking what armour I could combine that with...

Crafted armour down the line would be Protector Armour, probably the Exquisite variant.

    http://lotro.northshield.co.uk/Mediu...Protectors.htm for lvl 48

    ...or maybe Footman's

    http://lotro.northshield.co.uk/Mediu...s/footmans.htm for lvl 50+

I really need to rip (ask owner to copy) that site and update it. Excellent stuff...
