Exactly how I do it now. Did not help when LOTRO launched though, because there were no numbers at that time. But have them now (needed to when the other servers were added).

Nope. You can get a couple/few from the in-game barber as noted by SabrielofLorien above. What I did was take some screen shots of different angles (straight on, left-side, right-side, back, and so forth). Need to get them in decent light, too, and even then the skin color may not look right. Close up of the face to get eye color. Then use the screen shots to match the Character Creation screen. Once you get something that looks right, just note the numbers.
