Clicking Both Mouse Buttons to Run

On the Windows client, I can hold right click and tap left-click to run, and I can hold left-click and tap right-click to run - either first, tap the other - no problems!

On the mac client, if I hold left-click, and tap right-click, it works fine.

If I hold right-click, and tap left-click, no run!

This is annoying, because I generally hold right-click, and tap left to run - this means I can move the mouse to look around, and run when I need to.

Hope I was clear, any thoughts?

    Thanks,

    Hi All,

Sorry to double-post, could anyone confirm if this is working/is not working for them?

    Thanks,

Never heard of that configuration with either client!

Basically, what you are describing can be controlled in-game via Options/Key Mapping, or via your mouse software (or a combination of the two).

I use a Kensington Trackball with 4 buttons.

With the Windows client, it's standard.

Keep in mind that "Standard" for the Mac is a ONE BUTTON mouse!

Ha, haven't had a one button mouse on a Mac for about eights years I think.

It probably depends on your mouse. I’ve read a lot of complaints from gamers saying that pressing the left and right buttons at the same time doesn’t work with the recent Apple mice that don’t have physically separate buttons (the Mighty/Magic mouse). I use a Logitech MX518 and it works fine.

I've found it works perfectly fine with my generic/normal usb mouse but not at all with the magic mouse.
