    Exclamation 1st person view Update

    When you zoom in and you're in 1st person view you should be able to see your arms and swords ect. And you should be able to see the ability's that you do.

    This game isn't built to be a first-person game. It's built to be a 3rd person.
    Did everyone get a bugged signature? My BB code doesn't work anymore

    As Robbie1435 said this game is not designed to be a 1st person game but a 3rd person one and I don't think that the engine even supports such a thing. Besides the only reason 1st person view exists along with the UI disappearance by pressing F12 is to allow us players to take pictures of landscape without the interference of either our characters or the UI and if such a thing ever gets implemented lot's of people will get pissed for that very reason.

    Lotro is not Skyrim.

    I've always thought the Bioware implementation in Skyrim is silly. People do not walk around with their hands up in front of their face. They only time I see that occur in real life is when some one is using their hands to protect their face because they are being slapped or punched by someone else. The attacker does not have their hands in front of their face.
    Unless stated otherwise, all content in this post is My Personal Opinion.

    It's not as though the camera were hanging around your neck;
    it's supposed to be looking through your eyes.

    Some researchers in England recently put a camera and a GPS
    around the necks of a dozen or so cats and let them wander
    about. They got interesting GPS data on how far, and where,
    the cats wandered. They also got some interesting pictures,
    most of them showing the cats' whiskers in frame, rather
    out-of-focus.

    No doubt Lotro's game engine wasn't designed for detailed 1st person view... but if it could be updated I would certainly appreciate that.

    Check out Vanguard Saga of Heroes MMO - their first person view is fantastic considering it's built on an old game engine.
    In Vanguard you can fight, fly and truly appreciate the World from a semi realistic first person perspective.

    Let's hope one day Lotro can do the same......
