A new system based on Hytbold :)

    Hello everyone .
I'm not good at English so I write in French and use google for translation!

I thought an interesting for the redesign of Housing and a way to foreground and sustainable system !
One aspect of Housing is that , like all content, once we made ??the turn, there is nothing more to do for fans of RP .
I therefore propose a system that maybe you will enjoy ...
You now know for many the system was implemented on Hytbold at the end of the extension of the Riders of Rohan ? Quests numbered 1, 2 , 3 , 4, etc. , that can rebuild the city .
Well, now imagine a new system of Housing based on this system.
To start the player buys a field and not a house. Imagine that every part of the house is constructible via a series of quests.
For example a couple of quests to build exterior walls, fifteen quest to build the frame, ten to build the room , a dozen to build the room, five quests for the door, three quests for safe, ten quests the garden , and so forth .
Players would build the house little by little. Besides why not the choice of the architecture for each series of quest. One can imagine a tree in the quest series that offers multiple choices for the color of the stones, window layouts , etc ...
We finally end up with more than 300 quests to build his house A to Z ( really taking everything into account ... the floor, as slats etc ...) with the possibility of changing this or that part of home as one or another part of the house is not built .
Quests could be related to crafts or recovery of materials in areas with low level of Pnj accessible.
This only affects the home and not the furniture will remain in place in locations ( more if possible) in the house.
One can also imagine that for those who just want a safe home for a series of five to ten quests enough to give them satisfaction.
This is mainly for the idea that would make the Housing, lively and interesting ... flexible !
Hoping that it will give ideas to developers .

    Thank you ...
    See you in game

While an interesting idea, we've already been told by Turbine that there will be no "redesign" for housing, only some modifications to the existing system. Most likely a few more options for storage and decoration, but no change to the general concepts.
Used to play: 85 Champ / Captain / Runekeeper / Guardian, Guild Master of everything but cooking.
Playing now: Hellcat / King Tiger / GW Panther / IS / KV-5 / M4 Sherman and more

The big problem with this is that it needs some significant advantage over a prebuilt house.

My take on hytbold for housing is i want to see a hytbold system for advancing a neighborhood's general look and the services it can offer. An entire neighborhood can contribute resource tokens towards unlocking upgrades and such.

I would like to be able to build a log cabin near a lake....any possibilities there?

Please, never never never never ever again a boring endless grind like Hytbold.
Even though I appreciate the idea of building a house, why not use crafting instead?
But make it ridiculous exepensive + use rare ingredients (e.g. monster boss drops ?).

Have we? Why do they have to delay this for a year then? Minor modifications shouldn't take this long and on top of that itshould be clear by now that minor modifications are not what the players want (or will accept after being put on hold for YEARS).
