The Yuletide Contest - Happy holidays in Middle-Earth! - WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Even as the shadow of the Enemy lengthens across Middle-earth and the dark winter nights send a deep chill through the great halls there is still a light of joy and happiness to be found in the hearts of the Free Peoples for Yule is here!

Show us your seasonal cheer and help us dispel the darkness by participating in our screenshot contest. Start off the New Year with some new attire, and perhaps some Turbine Points to boot!

Don’t forget to include your name (and that of others included in the screenshot), the name of your kinship (if applicable), as well as the server on which you play. If you are participating as a kinship or as a couple, please select a representative that you trust and have him or her send the screenshot.

    Prizes!

    - Only one submission per person is allowed regardless of language (e.g. if you participate in the English event, you may not participate in the German one). It is however allowed to participate in all three categories: Solo, Couple and Kinship.

That’s it. Above all, be creative and have fun! We look forward to opening our inboxes on the 2nd.

    Happy holidays everyone!

It's a low budget operation! They couldn't afford a real horse, so that's 2 members of the community team under a table cloth with a stuffed horse head out front.

So, does the guy look like Patrick Stewart to anyone else? His hat is even Starfleet Maroon.

(This may explain why a real horse wasn't in the budget...)

Oh well, I'll join in too.

And I'm just wondering when we'll get the codes? I sent a pm when I saw the post a couple days ago and nothing back yet. I don't want the fellow I won with to think I'm giving him the runaround.

The caption delivered by Galadloth makes me wonder. Is this a reference to a certain game (that shall not be named as it is run by a competitor), where you actually could tame a snowman, around the christmas days?

Don't worry, I prefer Lotro way above this other one.

I can't wait either. Literally! When I held a contest for a business of mine through social media I was given the restrictions of a 180 day period of which the winner could claim, and then 2 weeks from the time they claimed to deliver, or arrange delivery of the prize. It's almost 2 weeks from when I claimed my prize for me and my partner. 3 more days and they'll be breaking my state's laws, unless of course they under a different bracket (probably not because my prizes weren't much greater).

Fortunately I do not wish to go through that process over the small amount won, but just a pointer to both the other winners and Turbine.
