    Game Services and Helm's Deep Update

    All LOTRO Game Worlds and Websites are now available. Thank you for your patience while we worked to resolve issues that resulted from a power outage at our data center. In order to provide the best possible experience for players, we will be delaying the release of Helm’s Deep until Wednesday November 20th.

    As a result, we will be extending our Helm’s Deep pre-purchase offers as well as the 100% XP boost and Bounder’s Bounty events until the 20th as well.

    Really, Turbine?

    I really can't trust you guys. Don't strange if so many players stop playing. EVERY expansion you guys let something like that happen. I bought HD Premium Pack, pay my VIP every 3 months, but it's starting to get no sense. Can't play. HD delayed. 1 day without the whole game and now 3 characters bugged.

    Will be 1 day that you guys will provide the game without these interruptions? I love the game, I love your support. But it's time to reconsider somethings around.

    When will the 100% exp bonus be reenabled exactly?

    When will the 100%xp buff be re-instated and do the bounder tokens still drop? The droprate is very very low so I need to know if I'm not wasting my time. Perhaps it's nice to increase the droprate to compensate. :P

    Groovy, that is all we needed to know.

    I shall fill in the time getting my (level 60!) Hunter the Kindred rep with the Eglain which he
    never bothered to get before, having a Hunter port there already.

    I hope you and the rest of the Turbinites can catch up on sleep now.

    come on... you can still play the game even when HD is delayed, having missed a day of your VIP...the world is going to end??

    these 1 to 3 days days will be full of doomsday threads, I dont feel like making some popcoen for myself to watch these threads, have seen it too many times already:P

    Although this isn't turbines fault I'm going to be depressed till the 20th, fkk!!!!!!!

    Really wanted to play mainly because i love the new class changes (to my class at least). FU mother nature.

    I wish you think before you post something like this. You make it sound like they MEANT for this to happen. Please, find an expansion of any MMO that goes off without a hitch.

    Give Turbine a break here... geez. They do their absolute best to give us 100% up-time, but it's impossible to do. You can't control mother nature and until they make servers that don't need a power source things like this will happen from time to time. They do a great job at communicating and they usually throw in an extra perk to VIP's for downtime. How many other companies do either of those things, much less both?

    Thank you for the update and the hard work. Just an FYI, some problems still persist. A character I haven not been able to access most of the day was briefly accessible before I was disconnected and now will not load.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but there has never been a LOTRO expansion that met its initially announced release date. I was expecting a delay of some sort, only by two days for reasons beyond their control is pretty great considering. I hope they're getting some nice freebies from their data center company for the screw up.
