    Client crashing on launch

I finished downloading the client through Steam and then I launched it so that it could proceed with the additional download & patching.
While it was active I started another game on Steam (terrible mistake) and they all crashed together: LOTRO, Steam, and the other game.
I forced quit on everything and restarted.
Now each time I run LOTRO (through Steam or directly from its folder) I get an error and the game crashes.

    Here's the dump:

Yeah, you're missing (at least) one of the files from inside the app bundle. Since you downloaded through Steam, you could try right-clicking on the game in the list inside the Steam client, choosing "Properties" from the pop-up menu, clicking on the "Local Files" tab at the top of the resulting window, and finally clicking the "Verify integrity of game cache" button. This will take a while and should restore any missing or corrupt files by re-downloading them.

(Note: don't do this once LotRO has successfully patched itself, as it will restore it to the original version that Steam downloaded, not the version you have after patching.)

    Thanks for the tip.
While waiting I deleted the game and started downloading it from scratch. I'll remember this info in case the problem happens again.
