The House of Tom Bombadil (Let Us Sing Together)

Back in 2007-2010 I used to be very active in the forums - but many of those threads are gone now! So I thought it a good time to begin sharing some of my creations again.

I was so inspired by the first LOTRO SOA soundtrack that I covered one of the songs - which then grew into a full-on Tolkien inspired music project called The Lonely Mountain Band (named after the kinship I founded).

For any of you that have not seen it yet, I hope you are inspired by my rendition of "Let Us Sing Together" - and the in-game video I created for it:

The second night in Bombadil's house, Frodo dreams of a song that "seemed to come like a pale light behind a grey rain-curtain, and growing stronger to turn the veil all to glass and silver, until at last it was rolled back, and a far green country opened before him under a swift sunrise."

Red face Tom Bombadil was at our wedding!

    Lovely video!

Me and my husband (he got me into LOTRO a few years back and we used it as a way to spend time "together" while in a long-distance relationship) actually used the Tom Bombadil track from the soundtrack during our wedding service, as it has such a significance of "home" to us.
I absolutely love it, and it just enhances the experience of finding that friendly little cabin after all the horrors of the forest (especially as a low-level character) so much.
