Thumbs up How did I earn that Virtue rank?

After almost 2 years in LOTRO I'm finally understanding virtues. There is a wonderful chart in the Wiki that turned the light on in my head. Now I want to work on the various virtues and find it a LOT of work to figure out what I need to do for each one. I can see my rank in the virtue panel but there is no way to see how I earned those points. I have to go through all my completed deeds, check my race bonus, and all equipment. I would love to be able to click on a virtue in the virtue panel and have it show me what I completed or am wearing that makes up that stat's value. For example, lets say I have a rank of 5 for Idealism. I would like to see at a glance that I completed the deeds The History of the Dunedain and the Flowers of the Old Forest in Bree-land and the Tales of the Lonely Road (final) for +2 rank in the Lone-lands. Plus because I am a Hobbit and I bought the Award of Hobbit Virtue, I have a +1 bonus for that. Perhaps later I add a necklace that I get for a quest reward that also gives me a bonus. Instead of digging through all my completed deeds area by area, it would be wonderful to know where I've been so I know where to go next.

I don't understand why you need to know where you got your existing points from?

If you want to improve your virtues just complete all (or at least some) of the deeds that you have not completed yet. Don't worry too much about which deed improves which virtue, it doesn't really matter all that much which virtues you have equipped anyway. I believe all the deeds that give virtues also give TP, so they are worth completing either way.

You have to check on the Deed Log every individual tap completed deeds to figure out from where you got your already earned points. Same window is used to check what deeds you have under way. I am not sure if someone have build a plugin for that purpose but you can check if there is any here: http://www.lotrointerface.com/downloads/index.php

    You need one specific virtue?

You check http://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Virtues and click into the virtue you need or you ask google for LOTRO Zeal (as an example) and get this link http://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Zeal

Reading in Zeal you simply compare with what deeds you have completed already, one place left under Bulwarks of the Enemy? Go finish that or make a note of it and move on to the next.

Easy and well worth the time!

I see where the OP is aiming at.
He completed a number of deeds, more or less without having kept track.
The comparison between what he already has and which ones are left to do is his problem.

Now, for example, he has a list of 20 deeds all giving Zeal on his desk, listing kill x mobs in this or that area.
The only way of knowing where to go is to go down the list and look at each area tab to see if he already completed it, or if it is in progress or not even started yet.
This involves many clicks to find out, so a view connected to the virtue itself, showing all the deeds finished or in progress would be nice (I would leave out the deeds you didn't even start, since that info would be a spoiler for people trying to find deeds on their own, and as the OP you can find that info on the web).

Have you tried looking over at lotrointerface.com to see if they have anything there. I found this there ( Berrys Completionist Tracker )

    http://www.lotrointerface.com/downlo...stTracker.html

Not sure how it works but it may help you with what you want. Maybe more on the site as well.

This is a good suggestion and some form of it should be in game. The current UI for browsing through virtues is tedious at best. I should be able to click on a specific virtue and see what deeds I've completed as well as what deeds I have in progress for that virtue.
Freeps: Venusia (Guardian), Silya (RK), Dwayr (Champion), Nissys (Captain), Filodon (Burgler), Tyveil (Lore-master)
Creeps: Venusiel (R7 Weaver), Tyveilakh (R5 Warleader)

I think many of you got my point. I have started a huge paper trail to keep track of my completed deeds for each virtue. I know there are spreadsheets available to download as well. My point is that it is labor intensive to set up and keep up. I believe it would help everyone if inside the game there was a simple click or two to see everything accomplished for a particular virtue. This information is already there first by the visible rank on the virtue and the completed deed logs. Wouldn't it be wonderful if those things could be tied together for convenience?
