Last week before expac events.

Hey guys I am planning some freepside moors events for the last week before the expac. Some of the ideas I am thinking about are maybe an all Loremaster or Minstrel raid, and just some fun events like that. There was some talk one night in glff about maybe an Opposite night i.e. the creeps play freeps and the freeps play creep but I would definitely need some help from the freep leaders to help organize that. If anyone would like to help organize some events or have any ideas feel free to post up, send me a forum pm or an ingame mail to Baglun-1. I will be posting the schedule for events in this thread in the next few days so be sure to watch for it!

Allrighty guys I have hammered out the dates for the events.
All events will be starting at 9pm EST
On Monday Nov 11th Daec will be leading an all Runekeeper raid
On Tuesday Nov 12th Orph will be leading an all Burgler raid
On Thursday Nov 14 I will be leading an all Loremaster raid
On Friday Nov 15 I will be leading an all Minstrel Raid

For the last two days of this expac I am planning two different events
On Saturday the 16th I will be sponsoring an opposite night. For this event I am asking that all the people that main Freeps play Creeps and all the people that main Creeps and have Freeps play Freeps. I will be leading the fraid on Freepside and I have already talked to a couple different kin and freep leaders, in particular Jarheld and Casanori have both agreed to help me in these events so they will be creepside that night with friends and kinnies.

OK guys if none of the previous events appeal to you or you can only make it for one night, show up for the final nights event, On Sunday Nov 17th I will be sponsoring a Battle Royale in the moors. For this event I am asking that every single Freep and Creep on our server show up this night and fight. This is the last night of our current expansion so my hope is that we can engage in some epic fights to end this chapter of the moors appropriately. I am still working out the final details for this event but my goal for the night would be to avoid all npcs/keeps/one shots and just duke it out for a couple of hours in open field fights. This is the night that even if you die 10 times you keep coming back, I hope that everyone in the moors that night dies 20 times and that both sides make 20k infamy/renown.

Just a few final clarifications for general rules for the events.
-You must be willing to listen to the raid leader and do what he tells you
-These events are just for fun guys, Trolls and excessive "complainers/whiners" will not be tolerated and will be promptly kicked
-It does not matter if you are rank 13 or rank 0 everyone is welcome, you just have to be willing to listen and have fun!
-If your coming on an alt that only has 5k morale please expect to die alot and don't get mad at the raid/raid leader, remember, the point of this is to have fun!

Question - If a BH member doesn't have the class specific class needed for the raid... are they going to be creepside fighting against each other?

BH members may do whatever they want, these events are completely open to everyone and are not exclusive to certain kins or tribes

Let me be more specific. When it's RK raid night, are you going to be creepside fighting against them? Who are these groups going to fight? a few fallen, randoms, and 6 MB? We rarely get more online at once than 6 these days. Just saying... you might want to coordinate with your opposition so that you don't get 12 RK raid out.. plus the random/regular freeps just to roll a few greenies and flip the map blue... would make for a very unproductive and boring end to your event.

This looks like a setup for creeps to farm the pants off of the freeps. Seems about like every other night. I've gotten nothing but hate and rude behavior from the creeps since I came back a little over a month ago so I personally will not be helping the creeps do anything. Why should I? They certainly dont help me last time I checked. If there is a flip-flop night and the normal freeps log over to their greenie, no map creeps and are forced to run to the fights, I apologize in advance for what is going to happen to you.

Does this time suit you well? I don't know anybody who was asked when they would be available and in fact I know a minimum of 20 players who have been cut from these 'server events' which everyone is apparently welcome to attend, but only if they go out of their way by the looks of it.

Would have been more appropriate to fluctuate the times of events so that you would not have alienated a chunk of us or even to have held a vote/request times.
I try not to seem like I am ranting, just think you could have taken a wider audience into consideration.

Why not do an event yourself? You can set it for whenever you want and do whatever activity you want. No need to change your schedule to attend an event. Just host one yourself.
