Make sure your graphics card driver is up to date.

When I updated the graphics card driver I still had the same result, the graphics still had a redish and blue tint.

Check all connections. Look for broken pins. Make sure your card is seated.
Reset the monitor's settings. Try switching out the monitor for another one if you have one handy.

Is your video card trying to run the game in 3d mode? Does it look like this?

Nvidia can do that and LOTRO looks great they say. You can get the nvidia glasses for under $100 https://www.lotro.com/forums/showthr...ia-3d-vision-2

    You saved my day. :-)

    It was 3D Vision.
I dont know why it was suddenly activated after W8 -> 8.1 update.
Deinstalled it and all worked fine.

Having the exact same problem and I just updated to Win 8. 1. I'm going to try your solution and see if it works for me. Thanks!

After Upgrading to 8.1, 3D Vision may be enabled for NVIDIA Graphics Cards

I was bitten by this. NVidia, please splash a billboard when you do this so that customers can be warned. When I saw it, I didn't understand it at first, then it dawned on me that this was the 'fake' 3D stereoscopic vision.

Oh well, that /bug report can be ignored. This is not a Turbine issue.
