You have to understand I thought $30k WAS a silly high target. I actually shifted down the beard dying and rap because I didn't think we'd get there. Originally they were $25k, $27.5K and $30k goals. I put up the $36,947.42 goal because that's exactly double last year's total and I thought that was silly high. Now I think we're going to hit that long before November 2. Never mind my deadline for incentives of Dec. 2.

Speaking of which, I've had to push out my marathon to November 9th. I'll still do 25 hours and honor all the game requests. I just have work commitments to the Player Council that makes the 2nd a really bad day for me. On the plus side, I'll have the house to myself on the 9th and no interruptions from anyone except the cat.

Team Turbine has raised over $35,00 now! So I had to go back in and up the goal to $40k for the team.

Can't believe I'm actually doing this, but I have been convinced. There is a Turbine Harlem Shake video. It has been buried deep in the vaults and is never spoken of. However.....

$35,000 Goal. No I'm not in it, but yes you want to see it. If only to see an amazing exampe of to do "the worm".

I had to watch it a couple of times to see. There's a lot of our QA team in it (which is cool because those guys get no credit and they bust their butts!), but yes if you look you'll see...

Sapience is top individual donor by a landslide.

Team Turbine is only $1600 from overcoming Reddit for the top team! Let's go folks!

The closest thing to someone on this list who sailed west would be Celestrata who transitioned to the InfiniteCrisis team. Still, looking forward to it! And QA does occasionally get credit where its due. For example, the exceptionally smooth Riders of Rohan launch day playthroughs when compared to Rise of Isengard.

How about a Team-Turbine goal? "Beat Team Reddit" (as of the official November date) Award: *Some kind of festive In-game lottery for all the players* (Huge bounder's token bags perhaps?)

You realize Team Reddit has 700+ members and Team Turbine has 58 right? Reddit also has a stated goal of $100,000.

If we over take them, even for a little bit, between now and the 2nd, I'll make a special lottery happen.

At the time of this post Team Turbine is only $1,440 behind Team Reddit.

Sapience, you are about $500 away from making as much money as the first 4 pages of people in Team Reddit combined. That is the top 120 people in that team.

If it's possible, some more Helm's Deep Premium Codes would make a nice $32,500 goal reward.

Doh, looks like Reddit is slipping away, around $2,000 now. Oh well, we still have blown our last year's total out of the water and have raised an unbelievable amount of donations. We should all be very proud of our gaming community!

    Cool

I donated $5 a month for a year. Do you get credit for all of it?

I can probably squeak more for a confirmation. I am thinking a Helegrod raid so we can get 24 people in it from the Vilya server, not just KoV. This way, I can hit up our entire server. This would even count towards your commitment for your 24 hours gaming marathon What do you think?
I wish I could have donated under KoV, but alas I am not a member (I have most of my toons in my own kin) although my brother and his girlfriend was. I would be down for a raid on Vilya.

Btw Rick, would it be possible to get a copy of the video from the Buffalo meet? I don't feel right trying to 'rip' video of myself from the facebook posts.

You can donate under The Knights of Valour (KoV) of Vilya, even without being a member; alternatively, it's +100%XP right now. Form an alt, and join us! We are 1400+ members with 600 members logged this month alone. KoV is one of the largest Kinships on Vilya... hence why getting Sapience and a Dev to lead a raid for Vilya would be awesome. Any response Sapience??

Not sure if I can change the donation I've already made to be under the KoV banner.

I have 2 alts thats are kinless (a burg and a rune) and I would roll into KoV but I don't have the time commitment for the game atm.

I figured that cutting Starbucks out of my intake for 6 months was worth helping the Future Generations and Team Turbine!

I seriously doubt we can overtake Team Reddit but....lets scare the heck out of them anyway....WE'RE CATCHING UP>>>

    Just a thought

I just found a visa gift card I got for a gift last year , checked it out and it had 6.16 on it . So to the kids it goes, I wonder how many of us have one or two of these in our wallet or purse or in the nightstand that we don't remember we had. Would do a lot more good in children's miracle networks hands than forgotten in our wallets.
