Lightbulb Intel HD4000 & AMD Radeon Switchable Graphics

    Hi all,

    I am running a Dell

    i7 3632QM 2.20
    8GB RAM
    Intel HD4000 Shared Graphics and
    AMD Radeon 1GB DDR5 7670M Graphics Card

I have no idea why but the dedicated and shared graphics cards 'switch' when required.

The only problem is, I have no idea which resource is being used to run the LOTRO Client. When I selected 'Detect Optimal Settings' in the game client it went straight to Ultra Low. *sucks*

I selected Ultra High and it has been...OK, thus far.

Someone must have had this issue before?

    Actions taken to date -

    • AMD Drivers updated
    • LOTRO Client selected as High Performance in the Catalyst Control Panel

    Any other suggestions?

Knowing the model number would help to find your system and get the information for it. However, I did some searching and found a couple posts that might help.

Check through them and see. This may not be your system, but the fix should be something similar. Should be able to tell the system which graphics card to use for a specific application.
