Thread: Warden threat

    Warden threat

Evening wardens, just returning to game here and leveling my warden from 65 onwards. Wondering if their are any up to date guides out there and if anyone has any advice on threat building both single target and multi mob

I'm currently playing around with spear and shield gambits in both stances but without grouping its hard to tell what everyone is using to retain threat.

    Thank you in advance

Dont expect anything until the revamp of all classes with Helm's Deep. We wont know anything until if/when we get a dev diary on it. Guess you get to search threads in the forums.

For now, your old threat rotations are still useful in Det stance. In fact, I think some gambits now have a threat component in Det that didn't before. Similarly, gambit buffs stack now, from short to long, including things like evade and parry rating. Shorter gambits now act more like their longer, cooler cousins.

Go into Det and look at your gambit descriptions. They change with your stance. If you switch to Reckless, you'll see some threat components removed and bleeds or other effects added.

In sum- war cry is still a good aggro grab, precise blow is still a good single target, other things like EoB and DoW are still effective too, but now the 3 step predecessor to DoW also adds an evade component and I think a threat leach, etc.
