    Putting expansion on wrong account

    I went and purchased the expansion on ultamite pay with interac online and after the purchase I realized I put it on my trial account. I sent a ticket asking if they can move it over to my main but is there any way I can avoid this next time? I have gone over the purchasing steps in the store to no avail and I've seen that my main is set up in my community settings. Just checking with you guys. Thanks.

    Your "trial" account may actually be your real account. I know mine was labeled as trial even after I had been paying for VIP for two years on it.

    That being said (and that might be irrelevant anyway) but the best way to get it moved to the correct account is not through a ticket, but by calling them.

    Well I have a trial account that is now premium and I have my VIP account. Two separate accounts. I sent a ticket Friday, so I'm not going to bother calling. Just a little silly that it didn't give me an option because both accounts are under the same username.

    There's an extremely high chance that if or when you receive a ticket response they'll tell you to call anyway, as it's a billing-related issue and those usually can't be resolved online.

    F2P account has expansiona and VIP doesn't

    I had the same thing happen. I use the f2P account to just test out different classes and see if I want to play another character. I have a VIP account and it is a Lifetime account from the Beta days. The order system doesnt give an option as to which account it should apply and the VIP account was the one I log into. I haven't been on the F2P account for almost a year before I logged in today to see if the HD expansion showed up there as it never showed in the VIP account.

    I have tried calling but all lines are down at support numbers, so I have sent a support email instead. Hope that this doesn't stay this way as this will really mess up our podcast and review of the game when the time comes out.

    GMs have nothing to do with account issues. They handle in-game issues only, as they relate to the ToS/CoC. There is always a GM available when the game servers are online.

    Adding an expansion is not a Premium Service. The Premium Services people do not handle normal account/billing issues.

    This is an issue for Account Management, which works seven days a week, including some (but not all) holidays. They are available 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (eastern) seven days a week. See the sticky Account Support Contact Information (New Hours as of 11/12/12) in the Account Support Questions section for details.

    Update on Upgrade on wrong account

    After a phone call today, I was able to resolve the issue. It did require killing my F2P account but as it is just used for testing that was not a big loss. Thanks to Turbine for the curtious and friendly customer service. I was happy with the resolution and their quick response once i was on the phone with a Representative.
