    Muster in the Misty Mountains

I'm a relatively new warden. Right now, I'm level 40. According to this site over here at level 40 wardens receive a Muster in the Misty Mountains skill if they are at acquaintance standing with the Elves of Rivendell. I am at acquaintance standing with them but the skill's not showing up when I talk to the trainer. And when I look at all skills (not just the trainable ones) the next Muster in ------ to come up is the Rivendell one.

So, to make a long story short, is there no longer a Muster in the Misty Mountains skill? Or was the level to receive it changed? Or is it just some strange bug affecting only me?

Thanks in advance for your help!

None of the above. The skill is purchased from the vendor at Hrimbarg in the Misty Mountains, rather than from the warden trainers. Cheers!

edit: This is the item you're looking for: http://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Item...isty_Mountains

    Thanks for the quick reply!

Is that the only Muster in ----- skill that you need to buy from someone other than the trainer?

There are only 3 or 4 muster in skills that are available from your trainer. The majority of them come from rep faction vendors. Galtrev, Stangard, Snowborn, and Forlaw are definitely from rep vendors. I think Mirk eaves is a rep one as well, but not sure. There are probably others I've missed.

Oh, no. Most of the higher-level rep muster skills are obtained through barterers or vendors in those areas.

If you compare your lotro-wiki skill list to the warden trainer's muster skills list (uncheck Show Only Trainable Skills), you'll quickly see which ones you'll need to get somewhere else. If you follow links from lotro-wiki's skill list to lotro-wiki's page for a given skill, you should be able to figure out where "somewhere else" is and what else might be required (barter items, silver, rep levels required, minimum levels, etc).

Hmm, I was just there in the misty mountains at that very npc. The skill is for hunters only. wiki is wrong on that one.

The NPC offers two different skills, a Muster and a Guide. You need the Muster skill.

To further the short list, I know the Muster to Lothlorien skill is also a barter. (This skill was added at the same time as the Muster to Misty Mountains one was.)

Make sure you have chosen the correct skill. Like TinDragon said, there is a "Guide to Misty Mountains" for hunters and a "Muster in Misty Mountains" for wardens.

To make it easier to find that one in the list of items the npc offers, there is a dropdown list above the items for sale that lets you filter the list. Set that one to "warden class items" (or whatever sounds similar) to find the muster skill without all the other class stuff cluttering up the view.
