    Bree-Town Dwarf Section

Not sure where this is supposed to go so I'm just sticking it here. Please move the thread if there is a better spot

So I was wandering through Bree today and noticed a section that was filled with dwarves and is now closed off. I haven't been through Bree since the revamp so I'd never noticed it before. So what I was wondering was, does it have a purpose? Like can you get in there at all ever or is it just completely random? Or maybe its a place that the devs put in to have a use later? I have no idea what the answer to any of these is and I would like to know. Thanks!

I was looking through the gate some months ago (I was wondering how to sneak in) and a pony-drawn wagon went by - moving right to left.

I looked at the map and - there is no place in there big enough for a pony and a wagon to start hidden stage-right, move across the center of the stage and then disappear stage-left.

So I decided they must be making some magic in there somehow. Or maybe (dwarves are inventive you know) they have perfected them movin'-pichers already!

Totally bizarre spot. I think they are digging a tunnel to Moria.

There aren't really any dwarves in that section. A bunch of hobbit children got ahold of a huge bolt of canvas, painted a scene on it, and have string it up between two poles that are out of sight. Then they dressed up as dwarves using loose adult clothing and all the pillows in their homes. When someone passes nearby, some pretend to be dwarves while others scroll the canvas behind them. If you leave and return quickly you can catch them rewinding and see the canvas scroll backwards.

I believe it is a part of some of the festivals (if I'm thinking of the right spot) for either the AA or IL runs. Though I don't know why it would be closed right now -- isn't the summer festival still on? o.O

I know for sure that it is not used for the ale association run--I just spent the last two weeks doing that run with one of my alts. I don't think you can get in there, and there isn't a message in my chat tab that says its a festival area, so its more than likely just cosmetic and a point of interest to add flavor to Bree. That's not to say that they won't be able to use it for something in the future, however.

You're not supposed to be able to get back there... but with a lot of effort, you can.

If this is the area you're talking about, the wagons spawn, move to the other side, and despawn.

*laughs* I would love to know how you did that! Did you actually go done into that courtyard, or just on the roof above it? And is that a hobbit burglar--dressed like a dwarf--planning a grand theft of dwarvish gold scoping out his target?

Sadly, it wasn't me but a former kinmate of mine. I still had access to the screenshots since she posted them in the kin Facebook page.

Ah, based on the image above, I'd say it's a different spot I was thinking of. NVM. That said, I'm dying to know how the person in the pic got up there!

I noticed this recently too and wondered if it was something to do with Thorins Hall rep or one of craft guilds rep? Not having very good standing with either I wouldn't know.

Kudos to whoever got up on the roof
