    Unable to launch!

    For the past few months, I've been unable to get into LOTRO. I thought my problem was similar to everyone else's when no one could connect to their servers but now I believe my problem to be entirely different (until I'm corrected otherwise I suppose).

    I input my password and username and select my server and the launcher just seems to shut off, no sign of it in task manager or anything, it just shuts off and my mouse shifts to the loading icon, only, it never loads anything. It just shuts off, poof. I've tried running as admin, switching to different compatibility packs and even a trick when the servers were down to switch languages and back, but none of these things did anything other than get my hopes up.

    Anyone else have this problem? Help?

    Failure to Launch...they made a movie about it I feel your pain.
    sorry no help!
    server and screeny would help....because some server problems of late.

    Have you got an onboard intel graphics card?

    I had huge issues with that...but that went to a BSOD...so not sure.

    I do have an onboard Intel graphics card, but I don't get a BSOD when it fails. It just shuts off, no error message or anything. Makes it tough to identify since I get nothing to work with except for unexplained failure lol

    I was have some strange launch issues and was able get things working again by downloading the current release and re-installing (repair type install). Might be worth a try.
