    Yay! I've been waiting and watching for these. I enjoyed the ones from the first Hobbit movie.


    Though I'll probably have a few disappointed friends who were looking forward to seeing a presentation for the movie at San Diego ComiCon this year.

    I like it when characters from books are given some sort of integrity and dignity rather than being purely a medium for slapstick.

    It's not that slapstick and farce isn't funny, it's great, but without the characters taking themselves seriously, there's no comedy.

    In the book, when the dwarves are pulled out of their barrels half dead, that is a bit funny because they lost some of their dignity.
