Andúnië, Elven Musical Fellowship, plays in Duillond (alternate Thursdays)

Suilad Mellyn! Looking for a haven for elven music? Come join the elves of Andúnië as they play original compositions and new arrangements of songs inspired by the beauty of Arda.

Date: alternate Thursdays beginning June 13th, June 27th, July 11th, etc.

Time: around 3:00 pm /servertime

Location: the festival stage area in Duillond, Ered Luin

What: after Andúnië finishes our regular testing/practice session we will journey to Duillond to begin a public performance of songs new and old

Who: Andúnië is a non-kinship based, elf-only musical fellowship that operates on both Laurelin and Landroval servers. We play songs transcribed and composed by our members, and we try (with a delightful measure of playfulness) to adhere to an elven theme in our performances.

Note: on the opposite Thursdays we have the same gathering for practice/testing and concert in Duillond on Landroval server at 9 pm /servertime.

Could you please tell me have these concerts been cancelled on Laurelin? I turned up today, albeit a bit late, and an elf maiden, who was waiting there, told me the band hadn't turned up.

Unfortunately the band got caught up in pre-Weatherstock preparations so we could not perform any concert tonight.

Apologies to those who went to hear the music in vain!

I turned up today but couldn't find the concert, was it cancelled? If you are going to cancel a concert could you please let people know on this thread so we don't waste our time looking for it?

Unfortunately, summer is always a strange time and we couldn't gather enough musicians this Thursday for a rehearsal. We didn't alert because we thought we could still gather 2-3 people and do something.

We should be there in two weeks again, once holiday periods end and things normalize.

It appears today the rehearsalwill be cancelled as well due to RL issues of band members. Sorry if anyone planned to attend the mini-concert after the rehearsal. I hope we can be there in two weeks!

When the concert last Thursday didn't take place I asked a member of the band, who said Andúnië will not be playing their alternate Thursdays concerts on Laurelin anymore. I suggested that they post this on the forums to let people know, however this hasn't happened yet so I thought would just let people know. On the bright side I was told Andúnië will be playing at Archetaid on Laurelin.

Andúnië still has practice sessions alternating from Laurelin and Landroval on Thursdays but we decided having a concert after each testing session is too hard to organize due to time zones and the widespread locations of our members. We intend to put together a special concert per season with advanced advertising. We are missing some of our valuable members due to health and work schedules. We want to bring new members into Andúnië in the next few weeks so if you or anyone you know would like to join an Elven band here on Laurelin or on Landroval send them our way.
