A potential quick fix for the Moors.

    Long time player, rarely post.

Right now the Moors are really unbalanced, Creep pets are useless, Freeps can out dps and out heal both at the same time, crazy stun chains. Here is a small proposal that might fix the moors even a little with just some changes to one class..

    1. Give Warleaders a group bubble, it does not have to be 90% damage reduction it could be 50%.
    2. Giver Warleaders a defeat response skill that either removes or reduces cooldowns on heals, and skills like purge.

#2 especially would offset the Creep pets and NPCS giving Freeps benefits (Freep pets will now do the same), it would also help with the dps/healing issues and the stun chains.

    That is all.

I don't see how any of this would fix anything.

Giving WarLeaders an AoE effect that absorbs everyones damage around them within 15m (no max targets) would be even better. Just sayin'. Bubble the WarLeader and bring on the battle!

question.. how do you think this fixes the moors? sounds to me all it does is give warleaders a buff while the rest of creeps remain screwed

There ain't gonna be any good change if the heal/DPS gaps don't get adressed.

    No, just no

A group-wide damage reduction over 20% is just a stupid idea. High damage reduction bubbles are forced target swaps and include by definition other targets one can swap to. The idea of a bubble that forces a target swap while leaving no target to swap to is ridiculous

Just saying, I'm not a friend of In Harms Way either. It's not as bad as your suggestion as it transfers the damage rather than.absorbing it, but because of the synergy with Last Stand it's still overpowered. But your suggestion is even a bit worse than that combo. IHW and LS combo at least leaves the Captain low on morale upon expiration while your idea doesn't have any disadvantage for the WL and if I'm understanding it right he even benefits from the damage reduction himself

Yeah, I'll explain you why both of those skills have nothing to do with it

Wondrous Foreshadowing is pretty straight forward, it's single target - like Field Promotion and Shield of the Dunedain, not at all compareable to a group wide skill

Essay of Exaltation is at least group wide, however it applies a Critical Hit Immunity, not a damage reduction
If we imagine a Creep with 25% Critical Chance and 30% Critical Multiplier from Critical Rating hitting a Freep with 0 Critical Defence with 100 attacks doing 100 damage (that is 10000 damage) - out of those 25% crit doing 180 damage, that's an extra 80 damage compared to a noncrit, 80x25=2000

So the damage without Critical Hit Immunity is 12000, with Immunity 10000 - even with those unrealistic values the maximum damage reduction of Essay of Exaltation is 20%. Now if the Freep has 40% Critical Defence, and most good Freeps are between 35% and 45% the damage reduced from Essay of Exaltation is halted as the total damage without it would be 11000 instead of 12000, so the damage reduction is closer to 10%, 15% at maximum

Theres already 100 different ideas on 100 different threads that are good and as yet I have not seen any one of these ideas/suggestions implemented. Freeps heals being too powerful atm is far more important to "fix" than specific skill changes on a specific class IMO.

there aren't any quick fixes and by all means this would do next to nothing
