    Raid threat transfer

Hi, I tanked my first raid last night and noticed threat transfer didn't seem as much as I expected. I read in the threat management in the sticky that threat transfer was from fellowship only and not raid. That was from 2008 and is that still how it is? If so that could explain a bit on aggression.

Never,, EVER Changed since 2008. Also applies to guardian threat transfers, group only, not raid.

No idea what you are talking about with Agression. In Determination only, lotro-wiki says:

"Transfers a moderate amount of Threat from each member of the Fellowship to the Warden"

Once again, never was raid wide, and why no good warden would ever open with it. No one in the group has aggro to transfer, same with Conviction or any other threat transfer tools.

Thanks much! Wanted to make sure. Yah, if it was raid wide , I expected tons of threat since transferring from 12 people and didn't notice it. Thanks for the replies

just because i havent seen it yet, threat transfers only work on people in your fellowship within 25m. so those hunters with thier 40m range and LM's with the distance legacies arnt getting hit by the transfer.

back in u7, wasnt there a few vids showing guardians skills work raidwide? pretty sure there was. was gaurdian and mini in one group, champ and mini in the other, guard used xfer skills and took aggro from champ. I looked but cant find it now. *shrug* easy enough to test now though
I will always remember LOTRO as it once was, instead of how it is now
When gameplay is governed by 'how can we make people buy things' you know the game is dying.

If the minstrel in the guardian's group was healing the champ in the other group when mobs were targetting said champ, the minstrel was generating heal aggro on those mobs, therefore the guardians threat transfer skills were indirectly generating threat on those targets.

That may be a possibility of what was happening, however, it would take a LOT of heal aggro for the guard to be able to leach aggro from the minstrel to pull from the champ
