    Pocket Item

What pocket items have you guys come across that you like for your warden?
I'm not referring to the super rare gold drops; just "regular" ones...

Right now I'm using the bronze talon; (+75 might, +150 vit, and 200 morale)

I just switched from Bronze-banded Hawk Talon to the Well-preserved Button. I despise raw power, but now that I've gotten my block back to cap (I think?) I like 768 parry more than 211 morale and 75 might.

Right now, I'm using the Well-preserved Button for tanking and the purple version of the Barrow Key for DPS. Dang teal key won't drop for me, a Burg kinnie got it though.

I'd love to see that Polished Stone of the Long Lake. Sounds like it could drop somewhere in Annúminas?

Isn't the Long Lake a geographical feature near Dale?
Betcha it comes from FtLM, since I've never seen it. It's been out of commission so long that any unbound loot from it may be scarce, and I only did it a couple times on Captain before it was taken away. Or maybe Smaug--that doesn't get run much.

Yeah, you're right. It's been a long time since I've read The Hobbit, heh.

I'm 99% certain the polished stone of the long lake is from FotLM.

I'm currently at a toss up between that and bronze talon, excluding the remote possibility of golds ofc.

I think well-preserved button is ok, i just have reservations about using an item with a wasted stat allocation on it (i.e. +power)

Yeah using the Hawk Talon myself, the Polished stone looks really nice though. I'm inclined to agree that it likely drops from Flight, as I'm sure I would've seen one by now if it dropped from bells, battle or smaug.

From what I've seen though; none of the raids drop armor or jewelery...
Just the barter stones, riddermark crystals, runes and relics, and the occasional symbol...

The raids drop armour pieces and jewelry but only dd &&&& for wardens. We are supposed to gear until update 11 to replace our old jewelry but there are absolutely no equivalent pieces. With the available vita/agi pieces (wich are not dropping anyway) i lose over 1k morale compared to my vita/might gear. It's an absolute joke. And there is no new gear available for warden tanks in skirmishes too. If they don't do anything about this, after update 11 we have much less morale than guardians because of the current poor itemization.

I'm currently using the pocket item from flight to the lonley mountain. Would like the stone of the long lake though.

I wonder if it drops in the ITA cluster, I havent run those since they were scaled.

I agree that +power is a total waste, however I also feel like the +might on the Bronze Talon is only a little better. It's an okay chunk of block, but the physical mastery and mitigation are a complete waste in my tank gear.

The teal key is a marginal if not bugged increase over the purple one. i mean, 23 fate is not enough of a justification to make it teal as compared to the Smelly flask of oil/rancid flask of oil. I'd just go for the cardolan journal and get a different crit proc, if you can get it to drop.

I also tank with the well preserved button, and do not see myself changing it until level cap increase. My warden is in such a good position that the only upgrades to my gear are gold items and the t2 armour set.

Anyway... I guess I can run the same instances 1000+ times to maybe get what I'm looking for to try to make my warden better....

As for now, I've adopted levelling a burglar when no raids are going on.

I tank with the Well-Preserved Button as well, but last night a kinnie offered me a Petrified Eagle Egg. Basically I'd be trading 150 vitality, 768 parry, and some power for 1900ish crit defense, 350ish parry, and 150 agility. I'd hate to kiss away so much vitality/morale but I luvz me some crit defense. Self-buffed and with scrolls I believe I'm around 50% crit-d at the moment. Any thoughts?

At 50% crit D or more, you're "only" helping yourself against the rare devastate. I havent found a single mob in game with higher crit multipliers than 150% for crits and 200% for devs, and you can't go below 100% which is a non-crit. Even the attack High Melee from the trolls in BfE T2 follows this (tested by running into BfE T2 and surviving long enough to get some data with 2x Never Surrender; then again and again til I see crits on certain skills, keeping my mitigations the same each time). Just some food for thought.

    charred statue fragments.

    http://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Item...atue_Fragments

mits are already capped & the 184 power isn't needed.

losing 375 morale is a minor hit.

i prefer the extra 113 agility and associated PM, TM, crit, and higher avoidance overall.

    384 parry + 226 parry from the agility = 610 net parry

    384 evade + 452 evade from agility = 836 net evade

Why s so important stacking max morale lately?
^^ for me it seems realy pointless as with good chunk of critical defense the spike damage problem not exists anymore. And if u plan to do battle of erebor t2 (or t2hm) stacking max morale then not only pointless but makes u take more dmg:P

    Durchest?

Btw it just me or for others too is easy to use catapult stuns to reset defiant challenge cd and keep mitigation buff up always? (tough we not really need that as i survived very well from my b/p/e self buffs too). Is this exploiting? or bug?

I haven't tested to see if Durchest has crit multipliers higher than base. I doubt it.
I'll note that I'm still on the fence for super high stacks of crit D (past 50%), though leaning towards No. Just reporting what I know. But that's also kinda hypocritical if I lean No, because I've got a fair bit of crit D: If I had the gold shield I'd be at closing in on 60%, if I had to guess off-hand.

Omg I never considered that with DC. It's happened to me on accident in various fights. Really juicy... probably an exploit if you try to do it.

I did it 1 time in t2. Even with inferno there was no need to heal me XD... and this so called exploitworks on everymob which has predictibla stuns... i suggest to try out this in foundry, as there gashanuz stun u with thrown ball of gunk if u go far away from him XD

Tonight I decided to do something different with my warden than my usual grind of alternating NCF/STH (now 0/115 for seeing a teal or gold earring). Joined up with a pug group running T2 Smaug led by a friend of mine. On the second successful run I finally had something drop for me that I was actually hoping for (but didn't expect to see since I've previously seen no confirmation of where it dropped.
Behold, let the warden farming of Smaug begin! :P

I can't find a link to this pocket anywhere, but I was lucky enough to pick up a Horse-Lord's Tome of Agility recipe on the AH for a nominal fee... The critted output Horse-Lord's Ancient Tome of Balance provides me with 122 Vit, 122 Agi, 870 Tactical Mitigation, 950 Crit Defense. This is absolutely the best I can find for Warden, thus far.

Yeah, the Horse Lord pocket recipes are so rare that I don't think anyone is really considering them for their builds (though if by chance were acquired, almost everyone would love to slot it in), same goes for the other horse lord recipes. There is just no real way to acquire them within reason that you might for all practical thought consider them as non-existent.
