Grats on the Smaug kill. Sadly, the content doesn't really feel like a "Progression" raid to me.

Defenders of Might of Meneldor have done Battle for Erebor and Fires of Smaug T2.

The new raids don't feel like they deserve this thread, though. CM seems to be achievable with anything exceeding a 10 min time investment...guess we'll see.

Every serious guild is clearing the raids on first or second night trying them. It just depends whose RL schedules fit together best and happen to go at it first.

A progression thread for these raids?
I'd much rather see one for the next multi-boss raid

Only thing challenging is BoE CM and Flight CM. All else is easy faceroll/two attempts.

We also cleared Fire of Smaug T2C and Battle for Erebor T2 (raid alliance "Wipeout" / "Avorthalier" kinship).

But I'm not sure if this is worth a "progression thread" ... Sure BfE in CM is very hard and has not been beaten yet (as far as I know)... but still, if you compare to Orthanc: No difficult trash before the boss, no raid locks, no different wings/multiboss, scaleable, ...

I remember spending a series of raid-nights only trying to figure out how the trash works until we finally got to the boss and had to spend another week to beat the boss... Well, these good old times are over, I guess. Farming 100x T1 until everyone has his SotEK and then beating T2 after a few tries in one night. That is the new style of lotro raids

Anything less than a CM clear isn't worth mentioning IMO. Don't need a progression thread for faceroll content.

I fully agree with you. T2 on both Battle and Fire are very easy, but good luck everyone.

It's still nice to see what and how many kins are completing the respective challenges

TLDR: Any kin that can put together 12 half-way decent players has completed t2.

CM isn't even worth mentioning! Like someone said earlier, it doesn't feel like a progression at all. Just a bunch of turtles with a twist. Just curious if anyone did Flight to the Lonely Mountain CM before the take down?
