    The official facebook page

Just thought I'd mention that the official Lord of the Rings Online facebook page is now quite hard to find if you do a search on Facebook. It's not actually the top search result (or wasn't when I looked.) There are a lot of sites with that title, some of them relatively convincing. It's even worse if you search Lotro.

Wondering if it's actually possible for the blue names to do anything about this? (Other than posting the proper link on the forums I mean.)

We cannot force facebook to remove fan pages or pages with similar names. If you search for Lord of the Rings Online, the official page comes up as the #1 result the moment you type ON in online. There is one page clearly trying to mimic us which shows up second.

The official page, and the only official LOTRO Facebook page is http://www.facebook.com/LOTRO

Honestly really truly it wasn't the first time I looked... I should have screenshotted it perhaps.

Thank you so much for the speedy reply.

And what a pity that facebook won't remove obvious imitations.
