Thumbs up National Geographic's Lord of the Rings documentary(Peter jackson's movie & Tolkien)

What better way to celebrate the premiere of hobbit movie than to watch a documentary about lord of the rings!

    Enjoy!

I was expecting another documentary on the mythological backgrounds to LotR, i.e. the Nibelung and other sagas. The National Geographic version does touch on this a bit, but the main conclusion is the parallel to our current environmental crisis. I think Tolkien would have appreciated this analogy.

You know, I have this same movie on VHS in my house.
I haven't watched it in a long time but this little clip reminds me of it.
Thanks for showing us! But I am not sure if this deserves + Rep to you.
