MAC CLIENT: Help! I'm having trouble logging into server...

I am not sure this is the right place to put this but if it isn't I apologize ahead of time.

I downloaded the MAC Client yesterday and installed it. It worked just fine and worked so much better than my Parallel Client. It even allowed me to play Ultra high with very little lag.

Today, however, the client would not let me log on to Brandywine for some reason. Right after the login windows, it goes to the the first screen where it tells me "Attempting to logon to server (Attempt 1 of 20)." Then it goes down the list to 20 and finally it just "Quit"s altogether. I have tried restarting the client numerous times, I tried restarting my Mac, I tried defragging, I tried scanning the volume...

Am I doing something wrong? I hope I can get the client to work again. I'd love to be back in Middle-Earth again soon.

Well, I tried my Mac Client just now, and it works fine. So I doubt it is a problem with the client.

Since you can log in, but it hangs at trying to connect to the server, here's a couple of things to check:
    - Are you using a firewall on your Mac? Try checking the settings, or even try turning it off to test.
    - Have you tried restarting your router/modem? I have had times when I couldn't connect to LOTRO and power cycling the cable modem and router resolved the issue.

Other than that, not sure what could be causing the issue and you may need to post in the support forums.

In your Launcher window, note that it says that the GAME SERVERS WILL BE DOWN THIS MORNING, until noon Eastern time.

    That's probably why.

If you will notice the original post was dated on Sunday, when the servers were not down.
