Entulesse
Conference on Tolkien

www.Entulesse.com

July 28, 2013, a new celebration of the works of J.R.R. Tolkien will be held in Sandusky, Ohio.

The conference is called “Entulesse,” which translates to “Return.” The conference integrates all aspects of how people enjoy and explore Tolkien’s work. The written works, art, music, electronic, broadcast media and live interpretations of Tolkien work, drive the presentations.

Entulesse is sponsored by “Tolkien Aficionados” (TA,) a Smial of the international Tolkien Society, founded by members of Sons of Numenor. This first year's conference will follow the second annual LOTRO Conclave (LOTROcon) being held July 26 and 27. LOTROcon will feature two days of social fellowship and summer frivolity at America's premier amusement parks on the white sand beaches of Lake Erie. All fans of Tolkien, from the written works to The Lord of the Rings Online, are invited to join in part or all of the celebration.

Entulesse is drawing from a range of presenters, including authors, professors, artists of all disciplines and contributors to the growing world of Tolkien fandom. A classic call for papers (essays, poems, etc) as well as art, juried by industry and academic professionals, will be presented. Speakers on the written works and films are scheduled. Displays include official Middle-earth Enterprises licenses, artists, craftsmen and women and demonstrations.

This October, visit www.Entulesse.com to learn the subjects for this years juried call for papers (poems, essays, etc) and art, to be presented at Entulesse and made part of the official "Proceedings" publication.

The final slate of presenters, displays, demonstrations and vendors will be announced at LOTROcon: The Hobbit, December 14-15 and on the Entulesse website.

About LOTROcon:

First held in the summer of 2012, the LOTRO Conclave (LOTROcon) is the fulfillment of a long standing desire for a gathering of LOTRO players for fellowship and fun. Held at Cedar Point amusement park and resorts, in Sandusky, Ohio, attendees enjoyed the best freshwater beaches, epic roller coasters, fireworks, festivities and breaking the Fourth Wall of MMORPGs. In July 26 and 27, 2013, LOTROcon II will be held again, partnering with the Entulesse conference on Tolkien. The two events will make the "north coast" in Ohio, the place to be for Tolkien and LOTRO fans! www.LOTROcon.com
