Well for now, the Columbus event is off. At least until, or unless they sell tickets to it at Easton Town Center. The Perrysburg showings are on though. May do that on both the 14th and 15th. As well as the LOTR extended edition marathons on the 8th.

EDIT: Nevermind, I checked through the actual Levis Commons theatre page and 'The Hobbit' was there. I don't know why it didn't show up through the 'Advanced Tickets' ad, but whatever.

Anyways, I am contemplating attending the Trilogy marathon, and I am still definitely in for Levis Commons on either the 14th or 15th, although probably the 15th. What's the plan for pre and post gatherings so far?

Yeah, I did some looking and we should be OK across the board. Some chains, including the two I need to deal with, are shunting web purchased tickets to select sites, then opening the rest up over time. Not an unwise idea, but a warning to keep eyes open.

The manager (AMC) whom I've spoken too before in years past (research on other events) said they would have it at Easton. The Rave locations will have it too, but same issue in both cases.

I'm still bumping the Columbus gathering to Saturday the 15th, unless that creates heartburn. I am thinking The Melting Pot for dinner, post dinner movie, and some suitable place after to chat, drink, eat again (It is called The Hobbit) and be done.

For the 14th, depending on the time, dinner if possible, but its a work day. The Books-a-Million is a bit more of a walk than I'd like. Then so is the

I will be doing the LOTR marathon at Fallen Timbers, which has a better premium screen than Levis does. I've done a few viewings there and much as I hate hyped theaters, it actually is better than the normal screens.

So is it set that the Easton day is moved to Saturday? Bummer, if so. I was planning to attend with a friend on Friday, but already have another obligation on Saturday that can't be avoided. We already got our movie tix for Friday as well. Oh well, please post if it is still on Friday, otherwise, have fun and maybe I'll be able to participate another time.
